I have two points to make in response to Mr. Konstandaras essay.

(1) The violence in Palestine did not start until the Zionist groups came to the area with their agenda to start a Jewish State. Before that there was peace between the Muslims, Jews and Christians who lived in that area. The Zionist agenda was very threatening to the Arabs who lived in that area, and their actions reinforced that threat when the Jewish National Fund made many families homeless when they bought Arab land. It then got worse from there and the result was violence understandably. I do not condone violence, and I don't think it brings about change, but it is understandable when someone threatens your homeland.

(2) In a true democracy the government should be completely neutral and provide equal service to all groups and individuals who are citizens of its country. Thus if we believe in democracy why are we even discussing the idea of a "Jewish State" - it is an inherently conflicting idea to the idea of a true democracy. It amazes me the democratically minded people who take for granted that there should be a "Jewish STate" in that area or any area of the world. What we should be doing is working together to promote equal rights world-wide with equal protections for minorities and the full right to organize - for groups to organize and take care of themselves - but the government - all governments should be totally neutral.

The so called "israel" is a racist,apartheid,militraistic jewish ethno-theocrcay and made up of an amalgam of illegal armed jewish immigrants from all races and entered Arab PAlestine under the treacherous British mandate and its Balfour declaration.

This occupying racist entity of terrorist gangs such as hagana,irgun,palmach,stern..now called "idf" etc...thru systematic violnece,terrorisim and ethnic cleansing,expelled over 70% of the indigenous PAlestinian Arabs (well over 700,000) in 1947/8 and razed to the ground over 500 Palestinian villages to prevent their return to their homeland.

That is why the racist entity has within its occupied Palestine only 20% Arabs-and where the ethnically cleansed PAlestinians were replaced by these illegal jewish armed immigrants.

It is absloutely outrageous that a Russian mafia thug and illegal immigrant this lunatic avigdor wants the occupied Palestininas to swear loyality to their occupiers and tormentors-this thug who just landed in Arab Palestine wishs to expell the indigenous Arabs who lived in this land for the past five thousand years since their ancestors the Canaanite Arabs settled it long before jews ever existed-and its Arabism was reinforced this time around and for good by Arab Muslims in the 7th century AD.

Once the ethnically cleansed Pals return to Palsetine-and they will because Time and History are on their side-they will be the majority in their homeland. Now Arabs make nearly 50% of the population of Palestine-while the rest are illegal jewish immigrants that will come to pass.

"israel" is a perpetual and existential threat and aggression on the Arab East and has never had nor does now it now have the ingredients of a natural state.These groups of illegal immigrants and their artifical entity-which should be dismantled and a free elections should be conducted by all the population of Palestine:Arabs(muslims and christains) and jews who were PAlestinian citizens on or before 1914-before the British occupation.

All other imported jews who enetered Arab PAlestine after 1914 should pack up and leave peaecfully-the sooner the better.

Nuclear weapons in Dimona and in German made Dolphin submarines not withstanding-white colonial settlers in apartheid white south africa has nuclear weapons too and now are history.

No colonail settler state ever survived withing the Arab domains:the Roman/Byzantine,PEsians,Crusaders,French and British-were all evicted from land however long it took.

No should ever insult the 20% Palestinian Arabs living under "israel" and its sixty year occupation and call them "israeli Arabs," for this is the ultimate insult beisdes lacking objectives.

Those Pals are simply enduring a racist apartheid jewish occupation until PAlestine is liberated and freed from jewish occupation.

Only those whom "israel" does not live on or occupy on their homeland support its existance-and if sympathy with jews then they should have live on its lands.

The existential question has always been that if Israel is not a Jewish state then what is it? Being a Jewish state it must give preferences to Jews and those Jews wishing to emigrate. In the end it cannot be both a Jewish state and a democracy that treats a large majority as second class citizens. The Arab population will need to be substantially reduced to under 5%. That is the 10 ton elephant in the room. The failure of the Arab Knesset members to seriously participate in any government leads one to think that those supporting Lieberman's position will gain the ascendancy.

Religious nutters should not run a country - period. Be it an Arab, a Western, or a Middle-Eastern country.

How can a modern state even entertain the idea that 20% of its population might be disenfranchised because of their failure to pay obesiance to a belief in fairies and unicorns?

The problem with the middle east is that it seems to only provide for a choice between equally deluded and despicible religious nutters.
