Editor's Note

Our New Design

You may have noticed we've changed our look. We hope this makes it easier for you to track your favorite panelists, find the topics you care about, and join the various conversations of the day.

We'll be introducing new features in the coming weeks, but for now, if you have suggestions, please email them to us at postglobal[at]washingtonpost[dot]com. Thank you for helping to get this global discussion going.

And many thanks to Washington Post Newsweek Interactive's design, infrastructure, and project management teams as well as Apperceptive, our design and technical consultants.

Please e-mail PostGlobal if you'd like to receive an email notification when PostGlobal sends out a new question.

Amar, PostGlobal:

Mary, when we migrated data from the old template to the new, we lost some of the old material and are trying to get it back up. The conversation was going great and it will be up as soon as we can get it. Thanks for your patience.

Got it. Thank you Salamon. We're working on fixing that."

So, what happened to the missing posts? and why did they go missing?...I hope it's an honest mistake, I would like to think that 1984 wasn't just 20 years too late...

Anju Chandel, New Delhi, India.:

This new layout sure looks great and is easier for the readers to navigate!

Bimbo:

Great new design. But shouldn't a discussion page on prostitution be in Hot Pink instead of power blue? And where are the leopard skin patterns and flashy Vegas lights?

A more serious suggestion: The comments at the bottom of each piece can have a better colour contrast if it is a very light sand or tan background.

Salamon:

Broken link from from Mr. Ali Ettefagh at Pos.... [Today's topic]
the comments are from Dec 15 on another topic

highwayscribery:

Very handsome.

Amar C. Bakshi:

Got it. Thank you Salamon. We're working on fixing that.

Salamon:

The entry WHEN, IF EVER...

ends with last entry dated jan 23 5:45 pm so the entries were not copied correctly to the new site, missing last two days and todasy's entries

Amar C. Bakshi:

Thanks Salamon. What do you mean by shortened the discussion's last two topics? Cut out panelist responses or reader responses?

Salamon:

The lay out is great, however you shortened the discussions last two topics.

Tommyalanson:

The new layout looks great!
