Just a curious remark of my own:
I find it VERY amusing that ONLY 6 to 7 years, someone, somewhere has decided that Pakistan is THE most dangerous country and the one that poses the greater threat to peace around the globe.
My question then (out of irony):
Why it did take so long (some 6-7 years) to learn/realise/know (pick the verb of your liking)that Pakistan is ruled by a dictator, is suspect of harboring terrorists from Al Qaeda, has the nuclear bomb, is unstable? ....Wow!

How would I define dangerous?
Consider this - Pakistan is ruled by a dictator (4th in 60 years), who choses to stomp on the constitution set by the founder of the country in his pursuit of power. Its a country rife with internal violence and militancy, has fought 3 wars with its immediate neighbor, carried out a genocide in Bangladesh, possesses Nukes and a propensity for nuclear proliferation, and has spread religious fundamentalism to every corner of the country in lieu of petro-dollars and aid received from the other Radical Muslim states in Mid-East. Its also a fertile ground for terrorists and Islamic fundamentalists who are bent of the Talibanization of the country, complete with Sharia law and dark-ages mentality.
Their past history and actions along with the current state of their affairs make the country a threat to peace and stability everywhere. Unlike other war-zones, there is a greater risk of irrational actions directed towards the rest of the world coming from this country. In my view, not Iraq, nor Iran, but Pakistan is the country with the greatest threat to peace in all the world.

the most dangerous country?
"gefährlich" is dangerous in german. fahren is to drive, licht is light. "gefährlich" sounds like "who was able to move forward with light, who could drive with light, who should be lighthouse on the land for the ship sailing on the sea"
the most dangerous country?

This is an interesting approach you gave to the matter. I think there is too much of labelling going on these says. So far, I have seen only increasing prejudice, phobias of all sorts, manipulation, simplification, quick-easy fixes as a result.
