President Obama’s hand, but will also be the biggest supporter and unifier of the US Senate under an Obama administration. I also believe that Vice President Biden and Sen. McCain will do everything possible in Congress to rebuild the American economy and restore America’s international image. These men are more than just gentleman, they are the epitome of American patriots

Thanks, Mr. Vamos. Yours is one of the few sane comments. Years ago elections were civil in the United States -- I yearn for the time when they become so again.
President-Elect Obama holds no animosity towards Senator McCain.
Even though he could, what with all the labels of Marxist, Socialist, terrorist, and activist; or with attendees calls for "lynch him," and "kill him" at Senator McCain's and Governor Palin's stump rallies, he has every right to be.
Let's hope that in return, Senator McCain can also shake the hand of Senator Obama and be sincere!
Whatever makes you think he didn't or he won't??? Obama is a gracious man and I am sure that McCain great concession speech has put any disharmony at bay.

I think Sen. McCain needs to invite Sen. Obama to one of his houses for a barbeque evening with his family and Sen. Obama's family.

I agree with this. Shaking McCain's hand is a great way to show he's ready to move forward. I would love to see this.

That's already happened with both of their speeches.
What's next?
