Doha, Qatar - The new Congress must take a hard look at the U.S.' unconditional support for Israel. It impacts the people in the region, and world peace. If the Congress refuses to address this issue, they will have to continue to deal with new generations of young Arabs who see America as party to a crime against them.
As long as members of Congress confine their trips to Palestine and Israel to those organized by pro-Israeli organizations, they will continue to miss the bigger picture. Congress is not expected to become Palestinian but to understand that empowering Israel through impunity and strengthening its military arsenal will not solve any problems. That is, unless the plan is to kill or drive out all of the Palestinians.
