Being a Questioner, I don't see so much difference. Most people seem to be more enslaved by their religions than freed by them. Of course, your average religious man of any kind will tell you life goes on.

I've made the arguement before that you have a choice in our Judaist based faith systems. God will take your ability to sin (read here: free choice) so that you no longer have to suffer. Opinions on Hell have run the gammut from a pit of fire to complete chaos to a seperation from God to here on Earth.
