Mr. Kuttab is the former director of the Institute of Modern Media at Al Quds University in Ramallah, Palestine and the founder of AmmanNet, the Arab world's first internet radio station. An Easy Drive From Israel to Palestine

Amman, Jordan/Ramallah, Palestine - My unexpected prediction for 2007 is simply that one will be able to drive from Amman to Jerusalem and on to Gaza.

I predict driving this route without international borders that ban cars crossing, without walls like the one surrounding Jerusalem, and without checkpoints like the 400 ones througout the Palestinian West Bank. Finally, I predict the end of the Erez checkpoint, which currently makes Gaza completely inaccessible.
