Americans Don't Care About Politics

Amman, Jordan - It might be true that Americans are obsessed with sex (although I think European free-to-air TV stations show much more nudity) but I don't think that Americans are obsessed with politics. They certainly aren't very interested in international politics.

This is the opposite in the rest of the world, which is interested in politics, and especially in U.S. politics. By and large, leading countries, those most powerful and influential, care less about the rest of the world. Those less privileged are much more interested in the powerful.

Had Americans really been interested in politics or international affairs, they wouldn't have reelected a president who took their sons and daughters (as well as billions of their taxes) into a no-win war for untrue reasons without an exit strategy.
