And a Palestinian to remind the United States of our hypocrisy. Tell me another. However, neither the Palestinians nor the U.S. have been hypocritical over Israel. We have been unwavering in our support for Israel, along with as even-handed an attempt to nurture the rattlesnake Palestinians into nonsnakehood as is humanly possible (an apparently absurd proposition on its face); and the Palestinians have been unswerving in their only occasionally unstated desire to drive the Israeli nation into the Mediterranean Sea.
Our administration will change in two years and some months, and the chances are rather good that a significant part of our policies will return to the humane pursuit of human rights around the world. Will the Palestinians change their policies at any time in the near future? Some hypocrisies are to be welcomed. But perhaps Mr. Kuttab would prefer a United States for which he can continue to make a hating case with only a little fear of contradiction?
Wasn't Mr. Kuttab's agreed-upon subject Russia?
