As well as becoming the first woman to anchor and edit the prime time news, Christine has also edited the current affairs journal L'Express, worked as the deputy director-general of France's TF1 channel and presented the country's flagship magazine and program on French and European politics, France-Europe Express. Stop Righteous Religiosity

Paris, France - In our societies, there is no reason to deprive homosexuals of the legal and financial rights which we are all entitled to. France has set up a system called PACS which guarantees such rights whilst avoiding the connotations of "marriage". It is an official contract coupled with a civil ceremony at City Hall. In a country like the U.S. so much more impregnated with religion, it is easy -- and quite despicable -- to see what political mileage can be drawn from homosexual marriage issue, which seems to surface at every election.
