ohhh noo! what a drama!
before everyone will start to whine about arabian invasion into Africa.

seriously, idiot. you should learn more about Africa before you are going to blame the westerns for all bad thing there.

LoveTibet:

to Irsh: "China doesnt really have anyone's interests at heart" ... to reword your words for a better understanding, "China dosen't have westen countries interests at heart", that is the reason why Chinese government has been condemned and criticized from the western countries.
I think BBC or CNN is your major information source, they only report bad news about China. Did you know the contribution of Chinese to Afrian people, in such fields like infrastructure construction, technology transfer, public schools, medical groups, etc? You can never hear those stories from BBC. Pity for you!

Irsh:

China may be affordable but they are not exactly doing a service to Africa. Most recent reports from Africa talk about exploitation by the Chinese, how little they mix with the local populations and how little they are developing the cities and towns. Counterfeit chinese drugs have killed many children in Africa too..
China doesnt really have anyone's interests at heart ..except their own.

LoveTibet:

The western powers have been dominating in Africa for many decades. They brought nothing to African people but extream poverty, corruption, wars, conflics, worse human rights condition and more desperation! The economic coorperation between China and African countries since 2000 has greatly benefited both sides, and the economy in African continent sees its hope the first time for the past half century. Therefore, who is helping Afircan people?
