I am Chinese, and I know our history well. Tibet is not China. It was part of China, just as China was part of Tibet once…through occupation. Tibet is not China.

So much fears that another democracy movement might rise again and they will not able to contain it next time with tanks and bullets.

The Chinese Communist Party brought down the Nationalist through violent protests from disgruntle peasants and by waging gorilla war fare. In actuallity the Chinese goods are mostly sold by big conglomerates like Wal-mart (just for an example). There are many good products still made in the USA & other countries. Seems like hitting a person/country in the pocketbook is the only way to get their attention now-a-days.....I stopped buying Chinese products years ago. I may pay a little more but at least now I know that my family or pets won't be hurt, poisoned, or killed by one of their many recalled products... If noone bought Chinese products or made them reimburse others for the bad products, me thinks it might affect their attitude!!!!!!!!! Blessings to you All!......

I am a Filipino lawyer based in central Philippines . The comment of Mr. Sher that Tibetans were massacred, and there is total indignity thrusted to the Tibetans are not supported by evidence. From the video footage I saw,some monks and some Tibetans were the ones engaged in vandalism and acts of violence. Should the Chinese police just smile and observe just so as not to antagonize some journalists in the West, and avoid calls for Olmpic boycott.
