The Annapolis Peace Process was dead at birth. The cause of death is a hasty and illogical desire to decouple from the past.

This so shameful of Hammas. Hammas is responsible for every grief of the Gaza palestinians. I have family there and i know. They are coward, and the are responsible. Palestinians should revolte against the hammas to end their suffering.

Correct! We need an even-handed mechanism to cool heads on both sides and you are right. It will take a few decades. Thanks.

Ali Ettefaugh says:
"How could there be peace and settlement of deep-rooted issues when at least half of one side is kept in a virtual prison, starved of food, medicine, fuel and electricity?"
American Observer says:
Most peace treaties are negotiated during times of disaster, Ali; in fact, most peace treaties are negotiated during wars. I cannot imagine why or how you could expect anything different.
Ali Ettefaugh says:
"As I wrote in 2006, it is time to revisit the original U.N. partition plan, disarm both sides, and create a calm atmosphere for all sides. Why not create a pair of UN protectorates like Kosovo by landing troops in a land mass that is a mere five percent of Iraq or half of Bosnia?"
American Observer replies:
If the Israelis acted on your plan, Israel would be disarmed and the very survival of the Israeli people would depend on the soldiers in blue helmets, the same kind of soldiers who allowed the Serbs to exterminate eight thousand Moslem men and boys at Srebrenica during the Bosnian War. Your plan is nothing more or less than suicide for six million Israelis, and the Israelis would be morons to even discuss it.
