I'm not here to defend ne one religon r anything. But to say that Islam is bad, is false. Yea, there has been lots of atrosities commited by people claiming to do there islmaic will. But has there not been just as many countless atrocities commited by Catholics, Christians, Hindu's, or even Buddit's for yet the same reasons? It's time to realize, that there is 2 people in this planet, one for Good and the real will of God, and one of evil that thinks they r doing the will of god. It's not about what religon, it's about the persons interpation. Well.Thats an ambiguous question,Why?
Because the question asks about safety , but whose safety?So i think its better to ask the question this way :
By an Iran as a dominant power who will lose and who will gain?
Or perhaps better to say, who will lose what and who will gain what?
Safety here is a tricky word,So i do prefer to substitute that very gentle and smooth word with a more realistic term which is "U.S interests" and in a much broader sense "Western civilization interests."
I think Iran ,Demographically , Geo-stratigically and perhaps Technologically (yet potentially)is a regional power.So America has two ways to choose :
Option Number:
1-Stop Irans unbelieveable growth , i.e economically ,politically, technologically and militarily.
But how ?The only way around seems military confrontation , which I think is avery bad Idea .Although some people in America or perhaps in Iran prefer this choice but they are rare creatures, like dick cheny and the NeoCons company(Thats not bad just sitting in your room in manhattan suite or L.A suburbs drinking a chilling bottle of beer and chant Bomb, Bomb ,Bomb Iran).
Option number :
2-All who has mind not just balls know that who messy will go around the situation after a miliatry confrontation.And Miss, Secratary knows well at least better than chenneys guys.
So the next option is compromise.I don't believe in the fuzzy things or plans like the ones chenny talks about (in Seymour hershs article in The Newyorker)shortening ways.
So a dominat Iran is a realy that First of all americans have to concede and that seems so , at least in Iraqs agenda.There are many things america has to concede , one is a nuclear Iran though Americans still shows no sign of that.
I think after Iran reaching the peak a s aregional power then very rediculously it will become a good platform for begining of IranoAmericans Cooperation Era.This Era will bring secure continuity of American Interest in the middleast .
I stil believe middle east would be much safer place if these key players can start a coopertive game with the help of sunni arabs .
Thats not easy but anything as Iran says will start from a concedence .
A concedence that Iran won the deadly game Americans from the coup 1953 against Mussadeq and went a long fifty years , by supporting Shah and Saddam husseins atrocities.
America needs Iran But they have to concede and to pay the price of their mistakes .
However I don't know if Iranians forgive them.

Iran will continue to pursue a pro shiite agenda, perhaps less covertly than now and almost certainly more aggressively. This won’t play well wit the mostly Sunni controlled Arab states (historically antagonistic and suspicious of Persians). Regional politics likely will go back to the days when the Arab states lined up behind Iraq (as did the West) in the Iran-Iraq War.

That is the question. If United States and Britain would not have executed the coup against the democratic government of Dr. Mossadegh in 1953, we would not had the revolution that brought the Islamic Republic to Iran. Now, is there any place that United States have not made a mistake ? Yes the world would not be a safer place, there would be nuclear attack on western countries, and the Iranian leaders are a bunch of Homo-hezbollah and out of touch with reality, they live a pre-civilization time and life and they took Iran, a cultured and civilized country with them to destruction. What should be done now ? A unity of all western and wise Arab countries to move, not to bomb and destroy Iran like Iraq, but to isolate Iran so hard that a revolution be born then help the people to over throw the mad Islamic regime.

Why not? Iran used to be one of the strong, stabilising countries of the Arab world, under the name Persia. Has anyone in politics even tried looking at Persian history??? Now, it is being suggested that Iran is providing weapons to Iraq. Don't people know that Iran and Iraq are enemies? Most Iranians dislike to even be associated with Iraq. These two countries are not friendly with each other, especially after what Iraq, under Saddam Hussien, did to Iran. Can the blatant, destructive suggestions and accusations please be stopped?
