Without Doubt, We Don't Grow
Doubt is the fertilizer of faith. We don’t grow without it. I would never presume that Mother Teresa’s faith was sealed with certainty. These thoughts of hers make her in my mind all the more human, and all the more essential a religious figure – one in a never-ending relationship with God. Doubt is in and of itself dialogue in that relationship.

give me a break.
Doubt is the enemy of true faith.
You all don't know squat if your propogating doubt.
Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Listen and believe Jesus, even when we doubt, put it far from you.
Luke 12:29
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Romans 14:23
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

i havent read her own words, all ive seen are what people are saying on these boards-
with that sparse information-
all i can conjecture is that it seems that her faith never crystallized to the arrogance of certainty- and her path was a journey that she traveled sincerely-

To Peacetroll and the rest of the world: Jesus said a lot of things, such as: "Judge not, lest ye be judged", "The measure that you judge with will be the measure that you are judged with". Doesn't anyone think that maybe we should take to heart when Jesus said to: look within, forgive everyone, judge no one, extend mercy, pray for everyone. I would like someone to let me know why does it seem that so many of us humans try to make ourselves feel better about ourselves by looking down on others? Actually, I would rather people think about it because it should be self explanatory! Calling yourself a christian does not make it so. A lot of people that believe in the bible sure do like to slice and dice it to feel superior, that sure isn't even close to what christianity really is or what Jesus was trying to teach us. Besides being the Saviour of the entire HUMAN RACE, He was also a Teacher, have any of us let any of it sink in? God Bless you Mother Teresa, God gave you a job that I could have never did, and He also gave me a job that I can't do alone, thank God that I don't have to do it alone, I definitely take to heart, "Take my yoke upon you" and I will send the Holy Spirit to guide you into all Truth. Thank You God. See you all in the Kingdom. Sincerely, Thomas Paul Moses Baum.
