Church Is a Christian Obligation
Scriptures clearly admonish us not to forsake our assemblies (Hebrews 10:25). Being a participating member of a local church is a serious obligation of every Christian. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances when it is not possible. Perhaps this is one. I would hope, however, that the President-Elect would join a local church as Presidents Clinton and Carter did and attend. Carter even taught Sunday School in his church. Were it to become a regular discipline for President-Elect Obama it would certainly not unduly disrupt church services.

Maybe Chuck could give us a list of ¨Christian Obligations
Would it also include
voting Republican?
demonizing gays, liberals, Democrats, Mexicans and Muslims?
capital punishment?
pre-emptive war?
torture?
