I'm sorry, but this is not an example of scholarship of Hinduism or sanskrit.

As someone with at least a modest knowledge of Hinduism and Vedanta, I am offended not just by Ms. Doniger but by John Meacham and Sally Quinn. The moderators have shown a disrespect for Hinduism on the "On Faith" blog. Proper and fair presentation and representation of a billion Hindus is a reasonable expectation.
