Questions, Answers Still Blowing in the Wind

Forty years on, I'm still left asking the question -- with a great sense of sadness because I love America and admire it hugely and am awed and saddened at some of the things some American policies are leading to.

The real overcoming was in fact made more distant by his death and that is the single greatest tragedy of that death and one all too many people don't understand even now.

GK Chesterton, closed universe? We can still let the better class of people in or is that against God's law?

Try, "I don't know" if it's enlightenment you seek for those who already know can't learn. Those that can't learn are retarded. Therefore, the more learned one becomes the more retarded. Do you suppose that rule applies to other than religion?

GK Chesterton:

"It's hard to say where we would be without the Bible to guide us as we navigate our way through this dark tunnel of ignorance in search of God and the inherent enlightenment finding God will surely bring."

BGone:

This was almost a creative sarcastic response to Dr. Wright until you connected the word "enlightenment" with theism. The word "enlightenment" is more properly associated with the secularist agenda. For those who prefer a "closed universe" worldview, such as yourself, would think that you would want to put a patent on that label.

BGone:

You may not know this in England. Only atheists ever owned slaves. When the first civil rights movement took place here in the colonies that lead to a civil war to free those slaves only atheists fought on the rebel side. Thank God the rebels were defeated and the slaves freed. The 60's era civil rights movement was supported by all Bible based religions, all their ministers and members and only opposed by atheists.

We don't know who payed the assassin, atheists James Earl Ray, the convicted shooter of Dr Reverend Martin Luther King Jr but we do know he/she was an atheists. No one with faith in the Lord God of Israel would ever own a slave or be disrespectful of the rights of others much less assassinate or pay an assassin. That's due to the fact that the Bible is God's word and it forbids slavery or not being nice to one's neighbors even.

Have you folks heard about the rules concerning who'll be voting in the next free election in Alabama? Thank God there won't be any atheists voting this coming election. Otherwise we might slip and slide right back into segregation. As one thing leads to another segregation is just one step removed from legalized slavery. Of course enslaving atheists is the only righteous thing left for us to do. The Bible does not forbid that. In Alabama.

It's hard to say where we would be without the Bible to guide us as we navigate our way through this dark tunnel of ignorance in search of God and the inherent enlightenment finding God will surely bring.

Does the British army train it's troops to do as Jesus dictated, before shooting the enemy call out, "I love you" or is it composed of atheists only?

Concerned The Christian Now Liberated:

After 40 years, the following reminders still hold true with respect to Catholic and other Christian Churches-

a) parishes especially in the US need to integrate.

b) real estate agents should be reminded that denying minorities access to white neighborhoods is a serious sin.

c) interracial marriage should not be frowned upon.
