Peter the efficient:

Erin go Braugh . . . and you too. . . Listen John, get up to the north counties if you can, strap on (one of those very special) vests, and be done with it (if get me drift)? Your sufferin' is too much even for me to bear, lad. . . God bless and keep you in your darkest hour, may your soul dance with all the pretty ones. . . May the virgins await your sufferin', at the end of the glory road.

Your friend and secret agent,

St. Peter

Johan:

It is still unclear to me how you would translate divine "distributive justice" for our world into political terms. Would you translate it as "systems that promote radical Marxist egalitarianism" or as "systems that settle for liberal Rawlsian fair distribution of the world's resources"? (See again my earlier posting under "religio-political bilingualism").

Scientist:

There is NOT evidence to state that global warming is caused by humans or industrialized nations. Period.

BGone:

Professor, I would be inclined to keep all that, what you said about God creating everything in 6 days, out of the Physics department, however. Science and religion are getting together and combining dogmas according to the late Carl Sagan. So who knows. Perhaps the Physics folks can explain how 18 billion light years of aging can be done in a day or two. Mr Roberts turned raw ethanol into aged Scotch Whisky with a little oil and iodine. I can only suppose that all things are possible with God and a little Yankee ingenuity.

Of course using the Bible as a source of truth is going out of style according to sources. There's an electronic book on the web that's become a popular favorite. It claims Jesus was a woman and Moses talked to the sun and makes a better than average case that's how it was. The Moses God that is also the father of Jesus and which you reference as the creator God turns out to be the sun. I'm not disputing, saying the sun isn't God but may I ask: who or what created the sun.

Just in case you missed the URL it's: http://www.hoax-buster.org page 2 for the original story used by the hoaxers that conjured the Bible. You need a new source of absolute truths professor.

Otherwise it's a fairly good essay.

In Taoism all life is linked together.

If we don't heal the damage humanity has done to the planet, then our bodies, our spirit and our lives will take on that damage directly.

How can a person touch heaven, if they make earth hell?

Concerned The Christian Now Liberated:

God gave us many gifts to include Mother Earth (in whatever time it took). We can protect Her by following the three R's, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

http://www.epa.gov/msw/reduce.htm

"Reduce the amount and toxicity of trash you
discard.

Reuse containers and products; repair what is broken or give it to someone who can repair it.

Recycle as much as possible, which includes buying products with recycled content."

We can also reduce the natural causes of carbon dioxide generation, i.e. forest fires and the termites in Africa.

Using God's gift of reason: Big city office buildings require huge amounts of energy to heat and staff with fossil fuels being burned to accomplish most of this. Replace office buildings with in-home offices and corporate intranets for running businesses. e.g.'s Replace Wall Street and the NYSE as it exists today with all trading being done by computer. Maximize teleconferencing, reduce business trips
