All of you who've commented so far are FUNDAMENTALLY IGNORANT ABOUT FIQH! Fiqh is roughly translated school of thought or practice and refers to the implementation of sharia. In all of the posts I've read not one of your long diatribes mentioned fiqh. That says to me that you do not know what it is and how it pertains to the political and cultural manifestations of contempary Islam. Now maybe it seems unreasonable to expect a educated and knowledge based discourse from people who share share their unvarnished opinions on line but in today's world we can not afford not to. You have men and women dying in the Middle East and are embroiled in a contenteous relationship with the Muslim world. The typical assaults on Islam are getting old and you all aren't getting any smarter. The Quran is a 7th century document that contains verses which are relative only to the seventh century but also contains verses that provide guidence for this all time thereafter. The reality is that as a document(not getting into whether its of divine origin or not) the Quran recognized women's right to own property, choose her husband and divorce him, pursue education and yes even participate in government some 1,330 years before the United States(I will furnish verses upon request). As far as wife beating goes all of the traditions that have been cited by sexist Imams who follow a hyper patriarchal school of fiqh (Hanifi, Wahabism) have been discredited and we know from the authentic ahadith that Muhammad (pbuh) never beat his wives. In fact he refuse to marry a couple because the would-be groom had a noted history of abuse. Now, this is historical fact. The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) also was the first person in recorded history to publically and explicitly in no uncertain terms condemn racism as he stated in his farwell address: "There is no superiority between a Arab and Non-Arab nor between a white and a black." When you compare the Quran to the constitution on recognizing the fundamental humanity and agency of people irrespective of their gender and race then I am "sorry" for you reading but it is the Quran that has achieved this without any need of ammending. That all having been said. The reality in the Muslim world is inconsistent with the primary texts in Sunni Islam: Quran and ahadith. That is my message that the Muslim world with its practices of genital mutilation, "honor-killings," gender aparthied, ethnic cleansing and enslavement (all of which are realities in the Muslim world) one can not by any sound analysis be accredited to Islam. And I can illustrate my point even further. Did all of these abysmul practices that I've mentioned begin with Islam or the introduction of the religion in a partical region or did these practices exist in these societies before Islam? The answer: No in the Quran any of you show where it mentions genital mutilation, "honor-killings," gender aparthied, or ethnic cleansing and enslavement. In fact where the practice of "honor-killings" are alluded to it is to condemn them and the perpetrator to hell as this was a practice of the Arabs before the advent of Islam in what Muslim history calls Jahliyah "Age of Ignorance." This practice persists today but only in parts of the Muslim world where they were practiced before Islam and they are not limited to Muslims but are carried out by non-Muslims in this region as well. So get that straight. As for the issue of religious tolerance. The verses in the Quran which refer to killing unbelievers are, in history, referring to war times. Such was the case after the Muslims had moved to Medina. Muhammad (pbuh) and his followers were being persecuted under the Qurayish Tribe in Mecca for 13 years. During those 13 years Muslims did not lift a single finger in self-defense, they were pacifists for 13 years. Muhammad told his followers to migrate to Christian Ethiopia where he said is governed by a Christian King who is just and wrongs no one. In a related hadith he is reported to have said "whoever invites an Ethiopian into their home invites the blessings of God." So it looks like both your racism and anti-Christian picture of Muhammad (pbuh) is false. When the Muslims emigrated to Medina the Qurayish pursued them in an act of unprovoked aggression. Here is where the Muslims were given the right to defend themselves as self-defense. Before going into battle Muhammad(pbuh) commanded his followers to not harm "women, children, the elderly, the infirmed, non-combatants, trees or livestock." So we have a declaration of human conduct during war 1,400 years before the Geneva Convention. Even the command not to hurt livestock is pro-animal and environment. Muhammad(pbuh) neighbor was Jewish and lived along side him up onto his death. When Muslims conquered Christian and Jewish lands Churches and Synagogues remained relatively in tact and practicionars continued to worship in them under Muslim dominance. In fact they exist till this day. The picture that you all have painted of Muslims slaying Christians and Jews indiscriminately en masse is not a fact of history but taken from your imaginations. Now, all of what I have shared with you is taken from writings of historians of all faiths and from the ahadith (which you all pretend to know so much about). My point here is that Muslim world is in terrible shape. However, to say that this shape adequately reflects the teachings of the Quran is both inaccurate and scandaleous. There are terrible things in the Muslim past and present (though not nearly as terrible as the West and Europe, more on that later) but there exists within the primary source of Islam and the personal history sound basis for positive and humane transformation. You all are even more ignorant about Islam than the extremists so why you feel justified in vouching for their religious veracity arouses suspicion. I would suggest for you all who have the occassion to read this to relinquish your bigotry, acquire an accurate view of Islam and reflect on yourselves to see what in your own history as westerners could enable you to sympathize with apart of the world that is undergoing its own rebirth.

The Allah of the seventh century divided the entire mankind in three groups, and they are:

1. The Polytheists or the Pagans. Known as Mushrikin in Arabic,[1] they were those people who, beside Allah, worshipped idols.

2. The Unbelievers: Also known as the Kafirs in English and Kaferin or Kafirun in Arabic,[2] they were those people who had refused to believe in the prophethood of Muhammad. In a nutshell, Jews and the Christians fell into this category, their Quranic status as the “People of the Book” notwithstanding.

3. The Muslims: They were those people, who not only believed in Allah, Muhammad and the Quran; they also pledged to unflinchingly follow all the commandments of the Quran and to serve Allah[3] and Muhammad[4] in order to qualify for berths in the Gardens on the Day of Judgment.

Allah has not spoken of the Atheists and the Deists etc., as they did not exist at the time He was revealing the Quran to the Prophet of Islam.

In 2006, there were 1.610 billion Muslims in the world.[5] Of them, only about 300 million spoke and understood Arabic. Out of the remaining Muslims, a vast number of them spoke no Arabic, nor were they able to understand it, when others spoke it before them.

The all-knowing Allah knew that Islam would one day become a universal religion and that many of its followers would not understand the Arabic language of His celestial Quran, yet He decried in the same language:

“O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say, - nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (except when traveling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands: for Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.”[6]

Though Allah has clearly stated in the verse certain conditions, which disqualify the Muslims from saying their prayers, yet it can also be taken to be an instruction to all the sober Muslims not to say their prayers without understanding what they are saying to Him through their prayers. Which means that all the Muslims must understand the meaning of each Arabic word they say in their prayers and if they fail to do this, it is not that only their prayers go waste, they themselves commit a major sin by disobeying His commandment He gave them through the Quran.

But have all the Muslims been following His commandment on not saying their prayers without understanding the words they use in them, and if not, why?

As I have stated earlier, only a small number of the Muslims speak and understand Arabic and those of them, who do not understand it at all, they rely on their local Mullahs to make them abreast with the bare-minimum requirements of their faith. Again, most of the Mullahs and even the Memorizers of the Quran do not understand its content in its entirety, as they restrict themselves to understanding only those stipulations of it on which, they frequently face questions from their illiterate people.

Yet, all the non-Arabic speaking Muslims say their prayers in Allah’s language, which is Arabic, telling Him - all the prayers are addressed to Him -, for instance:

“The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things. Until ye visit the graves, but nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). Again, ye soon shall know! Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind (ye would beware!) Ye shall certainly see Hell-fire! Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in)![7]

Because Allah indulges in good things of the world, Muslims threaten Him with the Hell-fire of the hereafter. They also tell Him:

“Have We not expanded thee thy breast? – And removed from thee thy burden. The which did fall thy back? – And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: verily, with every difficulty there is relief. Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task) still labor hard. And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.”[8]

Muslims tell the above things to Allah in their prayers to Him, without knowing what is stated in the Suras they recite during their prayers. This is a gross violation of Allah’s commandment, and, as such those Muslims who commit it, are the fuel of the Fire of Hell.

Ka’aba and the Kissing of the Black Stone:

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. All Muslims must perform it at least once in their lifetime, if they can afford physically to travel to Mecca. The Quran says:

“And complete the Hajj or 'umra in the service of Allah. But if ye are prevented (From completing it), send an offering for sacrifice, such as ye may find, and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice. And if any of you is ill, or has an ailment in his scalp, (Necessitating shaving), (He should) in compensation either fast, or feed the poor, or offer sacrifice; and when ye are in peaceful conditions (again), if any one wishes to continue the 'umra on to the hajj, He must make an offering, such as he can afford, but if he cannot afford it, He should fast three days during the hajj and seven days on his return, Making ten days in all. This is for those whose household is not in (the precincts of) the Sacred Mosque. And fear Allah, and know that Allah Is strict in punishment.”[9]

It again says:

“In it are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures.” [10]

Because the performance of the hajj is very important for the Muslims, the Quran emphasizes:

"And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;”[11]

Allah did not instruct the Muslims of Muhammad’s time how they were to perform the hajj - one of the important rituals of their faith, as it was a pagan ritual and they had been performing it before they became Muslims. Nor has He asked them to kiss the black stone of the Ka’aba. Why?

It is said that when Abraham and Ishmael were building the Ka'aba, the stone was delivered to them by an angel from heaven. That story would suggest that the Black Stone is a meteorite, and not necessarily a gift from Allah to mankind.

Farus Nabi quotes al-Kalbi as saying:

“Before Muhammad, the Ka’aba was surrounded by 360 idols, and every Arab house had its god. Arabs also believed in djinn (subtle beings), with many offspring. Among the major deities of the pre-Islamic era were al-Lat (“the goddess”), worshiped in the shape of a square stone; al-Uzzah (“the mighty”), a goddess identified with the morning star and worshiped as a thigh-bone-shaped slab of granite between al Taif and Mecca; Manat, the goddess of destiny, worshiped as a black stone on the road between Mecca and Medina; and the moon god, Hubal, whose worship was connected with the Black Stone of the Ka’aba’. The stones were said to have fallen from the sun, moon, stars, and planets and to represent cosmic forces. The so-called Black Stone (actually the color of burnt umber) that Muslims revere today is the same one that their forebears had worshiped well before Muhammad and that they believed had come from the moon.”[12]

All forms of violence were forbidden in Mecca for four months during the hajj. The Ka’aba was holy ground and a measure of the holiness was its religious tolerance. All the faithful could assemble to honor a time-immemorial tradition. Worshippers of Allah, al-Lat, al-Uzza, Manat, Hubal and even the Christian Arabs, could all come together there. The basis of the worship was astral, the 360 idols relating to a year and involving the Moon, Sun, Venus and the Zodiac, as evidenced in Nabatean and Sabian archeology, in the star and crescent symbol of Islam, and the many references in the Qur'an to Muhammad swearing by the Sun, Moon and Stars.

In this connection, Robert Briffault quotes al-Kindy saying:

“Al-Uzza was the moon, her chief shrine being the Ka’aba at Mecca, where she was worshipped in the form of a sacred stone, … the very stone which the pilgrims to this day visit Mecca to kiss. In doing so the pilgrims recite Caliph Omar's warning declaration: ‘I know well that you are a stone that can neither do good nor evil, and unless I had seen the prophet, on whom be prayer and the blessings of god kiss you, I would not kiss you.”[13]

Karen Armstrong says:

“Al-Lat had a shrine at Taif, which was in a cooler and more fertile part of the Hijaz, and al-Uzza had one Naklah to the south east of Mecca and that Manat, the fateful one had her shrine at Qudayd on the Red Sea coast.”

“When the Arabs venerated these stones they were not worshipping them in any crude simplistic way but were seeing in them a focus of divinity. … The Arabs may not have worshipped al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat in a personalized way, but we shall see that they felt very passionate about them. … Their cultus was confined to their shrines …, but they were an essential part of the spiritual landscape of the Bedouin of the Hijaz, who saw Nakhlah, Taif and Qudad as holy places and sanctuaries where Arabs could find their centre. The antiquity of the Goddesses was another reason for their cult. When they worshipped them in their shrines, the Arabs felt in touch with their forefathers, who had venerated the banat-al-Llah there, and this provided a healing sense of continuity.” [14]

She also notes:

“The hajj was originally an Autumn rite apparently persecuting the dying sun to bring on the winter rains. Pilgrims would rush in a body to the hollow of Muzdalifa, the abode of the Thunder God, make an all-night vigil on the plain by Mt. Arafat, hurl pebbles at the three sacred pillars of Mina and offer an animal sacrifice.”[15]

Muhammad overthrew the old religion of Arabia, but he retained hajj and some other rituals of paganism, as it was his mission to reconcile with the old religion by Islam, of which he was the head, receiving the sanction of the immemorial deity.

Philip K. Hitti says:

“The pagan ka’bah, which became the Palladium of Islam, was an unpretentious cube-like (hence the name) building of primitive simplicity, originally roofless, serving as a shelter for a black meteorite which was venerated as a fetish.” [16] Because the al-Hajar-ul-Aswad (black stone) was believed to have the power of making women pregnant, the Pagans preserved it in goddess al-Uzza’s vulva, to be touched and kissed by the pilgrims, who came to Mecca to perform their hajj and umra. The following illustration of the enclosure of the stone should make my point clear:

In their belief in the efficacious nature of the fetish, the Pagan women went a step further: after kissing it, they offered themselves to the holy pilgrims. From this ancient practice of the Pagans, the Shiites have developed the concept of temporary marriage during the period of pilgrimage. It is stipulated at a fixed date and the parties of such unions do not give signs of recognition if they subsequently meet. Any children of such unions are regarded as a blessing in the family and are looked upon as divine children or saints.[17]

Although Allah has strictly forbidden the worship of gods and their statues, Muslims have been continuing not only to venerate the House of the Pagans gods and goddesses by circumambulating around it, they have also been committing another serious sin by putting their heads into the goddess al-Uzza’s vulva in order to kiss the black stone that remains hidden inside it. This illustration supports my contention:

As a result of the serious sins the Muslims have been committing by venerating al-Uzza’s vulva and kissing the black stone, all of them have been finding themselves in the fire of Hell. The new converts to Islam, who have turned it into the fastest growing religion of the world, are more likely to find themselves in Hell before other Muslims, as most of them convert to it without knowing everything that Allah has written in the Quran.

Allah uses them to feed the Hell, which constantly asks Him: are there more sinners to come to my fire? If there are, send them in quickly, as I am still hungry!

Dr. Nawal Saadawi was the first woman in Egyptian history to be threatened with a forced divorce for expressing a view that was identical to that of mine on the pagan background of the hajj and the absurdity of kissing a stone. She was accused of apostasy for allegedly insulting Islam and its rituals.[18]

Her problems compounded after she criticized Anwar Sadat’s regime in 1981. Dismissed from the government’s post of the Director of Public Health, she found herself on a fundamentalist death list, which forced her and her husband into hiding. During the course of an interview with the journalist Wahid Ra’fat of the Egyptian Weekly al-Maydan, Nawal referred to the historically accepted fact that elements of the Hajj, such as kissing the black stone, had pre-Islamic, pagan roots.

The journalist couldn't believe his ears. All he heard was Nawal calling the Hajj a pagan rite. "You're opening fire," he said to Nawal. "Yes" she replied, "but people should know.”

Ra'fat’s editor ran the story in the Weekly, believing it would run and run. He led the front page that week with the headline: "Dr Nawal El Saadawi says Hajj is a remnant of paganism."

Muslim readers of the paper became insane, and demanded her beheading for making inflammatory claims against their religions.

The Weekly then took up the interview with the Grand Mufti of Egypt for a fatwa (religious edict). The Mufti declared: if Nawal had said what the paper claimed she had said, there was no doubt, she had rejected Islam.

A lawyer took Nawal to court for it to decide if she was greater than Allah and also what right she had to demand equal rights for women. After some prevarication, the court declared on July 30, 2001 that there was not a case to answer. She will not go to prison, nor will she be forcibly divorced from her husband.

End of the Muslims' stand on the Islamic status of the hajj and the kissing of the black stone to wipe out their sins!

2:228, And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them
2:230, So if a husband divorces his wife (irrevocably), He cannot, after that, re-marry her until after she has married another husband and He has divorced her
2:282, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her.

Women rights as per Sahi Hadiths:

It is forbidden for a woman to be seen by any man except her husband when she is made up or well-dressed. (TR. P 430)
3. A woman is not a believer if she undertakes a journey which may last three days or longer, unless she is accompanied by her husband, son, father or brother. (TR. P 431 )
4. A woman must veil herself even in the presence of her husband's father, brother and other male relations. (TR. P 432)
5. She is forbidden to spend any money without the permission of her husband, and it includes giving food to the needy or feast to friends. (TR. P 265)
6. A wife is forbidden to perform extra prayers (NAFAL) or observe fasting (other than RAMADAN) without the permission of her husband. (TR. P 300)
7. If prostration were a legitimate act other than to God, woman should have prostrated to her husband. (TR. P 428)
8. If a man is in a mood to have sexual intercourse woman must come immediately even if she is baking bread at a communal oven. (TR. P 428) 9. The marriage of woman to her man is not substantive. Holy Quran emphatically permitted all pukka (pure) Muslims to have sex with their slave girls and concubines. Below are some of the Quranic verses on this issue of slave girls.

(QURAN - 70:22-30): "Not so the worshippers, who are steadfast in prayer, who set aside a due portion of their wealth for the beggar and for the deprived, who truly believe in the Day of Reckoning and dread the punishment of their Lord (for none is secure from the punishment of their Lord); who restrain their carnal desire, save with their wives and their slave girls, for these are lawful to them: he that lusts after other than these is a transgressor..."
This verse very clearly stated that Quran allows Muslim men to have sex with their wives (of course) and their slave girls too.

(QURAN - 23:5,6): "...who restrain their carnal desires (except with their wives and slave girls, for these are lawful to them..."
Again, Quran allows Muslim men to have sexual relations with their wives and slave girls.

(QURAN - 4:24): "And all married women are forbidden unto you save those captives whom your right hand possess. It is a decree of Allah for you. (Muhammad Pickthall's English translation of the Quran).

In this above verse Allah clearly says Muslims to have sex with captives (Booty from POWs) that they get from war booty.

(QURAN - 33:50):

"Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty;..."

This above verse is for Prophet Muhammad. Supposedly, Allah (SBT.) allows Prophet Muhammad to have sex with his slave girls he got from war booty.

The above verses are only a few I have mentioned out of numerous such verses scattered throughout the Quran. What could be more unethical matter than having sex with slave girls? Allah (SBT) graciously allowed Muslims to have sex with slave girls and captives from the war (POWs). Prophet Muhammad himself and his disciples routinely used to have sex with their slave girls. Besides having numerous wives, Prophet Muhammad had many concubines and slaves girls with whom he had sex. This fact can be supported by hadiths and al-sira.

To this above Quranic verses, some Islamic apologists will try to tell us that, actually Allah asked Muslims to marry those slave/concubines before they can have sex with them. Now let me explain some catch before some Islamic apologists try to sugar-coat these immoral Quranic verses:

Quran-4:24—“ Also forbidden are married women unless they are captives (of war), such is the decree of God. Lawful for you are women besides them if you seek them with your wealth for wedlock and not for debauchery.”

Quran-33:50—"Prophet, We have made lawful to you the wives whom you have granted dowries and the slave girls whom God has given you as booty;..."

The above two Quranic verses are from Maulana Yousuf Ali’s translated Quran. Now let me examine the very meanings of verse (4:24)- “ Also forbidden are married women unless they are captives (of war), such is the decree of God. Lawful for you are women besides them if you seek them with your wealth for wedlock and not for debauchery.”

Readers please carefully read the above verse. The verse is unambiguously saying the following: you can not have sex with other people’s married women but if she is captives of war then it’s Okay to have sex with her because Allah permitted that; other women (besides captives and other people’s wives) are also lawful for having sex after you marry them with your money. Does not this verse very clearly establish the fact that Muslim men can have sex with women received from the war booty (Ganimater maal)?

If you marry your slave girl, will she still remain as the slave for ever? After you marry your slave girl do you still call her a slave? Will you call her my slave wife and the other my dowry wife? Do you still separate them as slave and free women? Why then Allah should tell about your wife in two different categories? Fact of the matter is, Allah permitted Muslims to have sex with slave girls and concubines (received from war booty).

Many Middle Eastern Muslims countries still follows Quranic privilege of having sex with their slave girls. In Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other Islamic paradise Arab Muslim masters are routinely having sex with their maids even today. Frequently we get to read many horrific cases of sex-scandals about maids in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. Very recently we read the news of numerous (hundreds of) sex-scandals with Indonesian maids in Saudi Arabia and this uncivilized custom still prevailing in the most Muslims countries even today?

Before the advent of Islam, the pagan Arab women generally enjoyed a respectable status in society; many of them including Khadija - the first wife of the prophet of Islam, had the right to engage in business and choose or dismiss their husbands in a matrilineal fashion; they took part in most activities of war and peace including public worship. In female oriented Arab paganism, goddesses had special status; in Mecca, the female goddess Al-Uzza, in Taif the goddess Al-Lat and in Medina the goddess Manat were the most popular deities, and their statues were most revered while the statue of the stern Allah was almost neglected.
Arab pagan poetry was mostly concerned with the beauty and grace of their women, and the glory of their tribal values in peace and war. And it was only in one predator tribe of Mecca that the evil custom of burying alive of the daughters prevailed. It was highly unusual for a man of pre-Islamic Arab society to have more than one wife in his house; and it is quite certain that polygamy was introduced and encouraged by the prophet after the revelation of Islam. Women were to produce as many Muslims as possible. This ultimately resulted in the degradation in the status of the married woman in the Islamic society. Whereas the pre-Islamic Arab custom allowed many looser forms of marriage on the matrilineal and matri-local tradition that gave the woman freedom and liberty as full human being, however the artificial rules of Islamic nikah reduced marriage to mere sexual and social slavery.
The prophet of Islam, before prophethood, opposed the burying alive of the newborn daughters; he was eager to work for a woman and gladly married a divorced woman. The early Islam continued with most of the pre-Islam tribal traditions; there were no hijabs or veils for women of Madina; and at a later date only the nine wives of prophets were restricted in their social intercourse as their home was constantly full of visitors. However the prophet's women sex-slaves were not restricted in any such manners.
Indeed, the semi-transparent half-face- veil (hijab) was actually a very old custom originating in the Assyrian times, a status symbol and a mark of social distinction for the free women. The pre-Islamic pagan Arab woman of the cities often wore the fashionable semi-transparent half-face veil but the tribal women never did.
Later, Islam added measures for "the preservation of modesty for women" -like casting down their eyes in public, concealing their breasts and jewellery and the likes. However, these restrictions were later extended by the followers of the prophet far beyond his original intentions as expressed in Koran, and remained more or less a permanent fixture of Muslim life thereafter.
Later on, however, the insecurity of early Islam gradually added to the exclusion of women, and 100 years later, by the reign of the Abbasid Caliph Haroon ur Rashid, women became merely sexual toys and breeding machines; and as married women they were merely maid servants- mere man's social appendages. Moreover, as female sex-slaves, women were freely bought and sold in open markets of all Islamic countries, and loaned, rented or bestowed as gifts to friends. The prophet himself bestowed women sex-slaves to his favourites. There was no limit to the number of slaves one could own; one of the companions of prophet Hazrat Zubair Ibn ul Arvan, for example, had 1000 men-slaves and 1000 women sex-slaves. Islam took the woman as the land tilled by the man where he spilled his seeds.
The prophet himself took part or guided nearly 100 wars or raids or attacks for plunder. After him, his followers continued the offence. The fierce Islamic tribal Bedouins with centuries long experience of ruthless and cruel tribal warfare proved to be the worthwhile shock troops of Islam. After Iraq, Syria fell to the Islamic Empire in 634 CE. Despite surrenders, great massacres took place at many places; thousands of men were slaughtered and women and children sold into slavery; monasteries were ransacked, monks and villagers were slain and nuns were raped. After the conquest of Egypt, many of its towns were put to sword and their entire population wiped out. Great massacres also occurred in Cyprus and North Africa. The Roman province of Iraq, the Syrian province of Iran, and the conquered Iran brought hundreds of thousands of men-slaves, women sex-slaves, and the vast fertile lands of these once mighty and civilized countries where the women had been held in high respect e.g. the Manichaecian Iraq, the Pharonic Egypt and North African Civilizations.
As in Egypt and Iran, wherever the conquering Islamic Bedouins armies went, they destroyed the local civilization's cultures, imposed their Islamic tribal medievalism recklessly murdering men and degrading women to perpetual sexual slavery. In short, the Islamic tribal Bedouins and barbarians did the same to the surrounding higher civilizations what the Roman barbarians did to the highly civilized ancient Greeks. Meanwhile the Islamic Bedouins continued to raid and abduct the European women for Islamic slave markets during all these Islamic centuries. The conquest of Syria forced the conversion of thousands of Christian priests to Islam, who changed their religion but not their profession: they became the stern anti-feminine Islamic mullahs and not only continued their religious magic and rituals but also continued the essentially Christian medievalism under Islam.
In short, as a result of these conquests, destructions and imposition of Islamic tribal medievalism, societies under the Islamic Empire went further than any other in their total exclusion of women from political power and social influence. Islamic legislation went far beyond anything the prophet had originally dreamed of in his tribal religiosity in cheating women of their rightful place in society and in matters of inheritance. Where originally the Koran gave women the right of inheritance, the Islamic mullah invented the legalized institution of Waqf- the religious foundation, to exclude the daughters and their descendents from inheritance. Though the Koran does give the right of inheritance to women, she continued to be a minor; usually uneducated needing a guardian in father, husband or the son. Indeed, the status of women in Islam is theoretically exalted but utterly deplorable in practice.
Multiplying number of harems (residing place for the female sex-slaves), finally institutionalised under Caliph Al-Walid II, emphasized the inevitable degradation of womanhood under Islam. Haroon ur Rashid, the Islamic Caliph (ruler) had 2000 female sex-slaves, Caliph Mutwakkal had 4000 female sex-slaves; and every mullah, official or soldier of Islamic state had some men-slaves and women sex-slaves belonging to the conquered civilization nations. Not being allowed to learn, experience or think for herself, it is no wonder that there are hardly very few outstanding women in 1600 years of Islamic history, and those who by chance or by the force of the ancient pre-Islamic customs came into light or in the corridors of power were sooner or later eliminated on the orders of some pious and religious Islamic mullah.. Indeed, Islam's violent anti-feminism have been as nefarious as Christianity's burning of hundreds of thousands European women as witches in 15th, 16th and 17th century. The female hating instruments of the Islamic Empire, the mullahs and the Caliphs, continued to promote degradation of women under the formal and sordid Islamic legal code of Shariah, the final seal on the complete subjection of the female element.. The modern history of Islam is merely the continuation of the Islamic tribal medievalism, only the technology , phraseology and the façade is modern.

"Indian sub-continent suffered the humiliation and destruction under Islam, as did Africa. The Islamic General Mohammad Bin Qasim decimated great Buddhist and Hindu civilizations. Acting on the orders of a representative of the Islamic Caliph, Governor Hijaj Bin Yousaf (who was a deadly enemy of the Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Hussein's family-some of whom have taken refuge under the Buddhist monarch Raja Dahir in Sindh), Mohammad Bin Qasim conquered the kingdom in 712 CE. His Islamic plunderers and looters demolished temples, shattered sculptures, plundered palaces and killed thousands. It took his Islamic army three days to slaughter the inhabitants of Debal, their women and children were taken into slavery. Later on he pardoned many prisoners and tried to establish a just rule of law which enraged the very Islamic and murderous Governor Hijaj Bin Yousaf; therefore Qasim again reverted to the Islamic barbarity and massacred between 6-16 thousands in Brahiminabad, their women and children were sent to Arab Islamic slave markets.
This was the beginning of the destruction of the classical ancient Indian civilization, and start of the medieval age of Islamic darkness in India. The 11th century witnessed another Islamic murderer and plunderer, Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi an agent of Islamic Caliph, who utterly ruined the great Indian civilization and looted and plundered most of its wealth. Fifty thousand Hindus were massacred in just one of his attacks at Somnath; he invaded India more than 17 times. Thousands of Hindu men and women were sent to the Islamic Afghani slave markets. The highly cultured and civilized daughters of the noble Hindu families were sold to the illiterate, un-cultured and barbaric Afghanis for equivalent of just one Frank (Pound/Dollar) each. After every Afghani Muslim had four wives each, there were lots of surplus women left; to that the evil Islamic mullahs responded with an ingenious translation of Koranic verses proving that Allah allowed each Muslim to marry 18 women at a time along with an unlimited number of women as concubines. Soon the new military instruments of the Islamic Caliph, the Turks and the Moguls followed, decimated captured Delhi and turned whole of India into a grand open-air slave camp. Sultan Firoze Shah Tughlaq- an Islamic Turk ruler had 100,000 men-slaves and thousands of female sex-slaves in his harem; the pious Islamic Mongol (Mogul) Emperor Shahjehan had 15,000 female sex-slaves and concubines for his personal harem. Indeed, the Islamic Turk invaders and rulers did the same in India as they did in Armenia-the whole races of peoples were exterminated. (However, credit must be given here to the agnostic and secular-minded, humanist Mogul Emperor Akbar the Great who refused the title of "the King of Muslims" and preferred to be called "the shadow of God"- for his God, he declared (in accordance with the mind and language of his age), is the beneficial deity and protector of all-Hindus, Muslims and other races of humans and creatures alike. He gave up his faith in Islam and tried his genius in creating a pluralistic religion comprising traditions of all the prevalent religions and ideologies of India. He even invited the Christian Jesuits priests from Goa to his ideology-discussion-palace but could not swallow their childish Jesus-son-of-God myth).
The medieval Islamic Empire of the Turkish Osmania Caliphate disappeared after Axis defeat in the World War I and with the rise of the Turkish secular hero Mustafa Kemal Pasha. However, it soon metamorphosed into the modern Saudi Islamic spiritual Empire. It is noteworthy that while the very Christian Holy Roman British Empire of the West required standing armies to control the bodies of men in all its colonies, the theocratic Saudi Islamic spiritual Empire of the East depended on the standing army of clerics-Mullahs and Imams-stationed in mosques to control the minds of men-the social, cultural spiritual and psychological control. It is true that Islam dismantled the old Arab tribal loyalties and some of its taboos and traditions; however it created a new tribe in the name of Islam with prophet himself as its chieftain and his family and tribe-Hashmis and Quresh acquiring an elevated and sacred status- a replacement of old medieval tribe with a new theocratic tribe. However, it essentially continued many of the ancient pagan rituals of worship as well as many of its old taboos and traditions. The tribal blood loyalties were replaced with the new tribal religious loyalties. At intellectual level Islam is merely the continuation of the medieval Jahiliya (Ignorance) in the holy garb of Islam- the Islamic Jahilia (the Islamic Medieval Ignorance). Modern Islam is, indeed, merely a continuation of that medieval tribal ignorance and mental backwardness.
Since the advent of the Saudi oil, petrodollars started to support the Islamic extremist movements all over the world and continue to do so. The Saudi petrodollars have created thousands of Islamic centres for social and political control and propaganda- the mosques-all over the world; 1000 mosques were built in the USA only in just last few years. Islamic brainwashing and political propaganda continues in these mosques and madrassas-the religious schools, as well as through the Islamic newspapers, magazines, radios and televisions. All kind of extremist Islamic terrorism and fundamentalism emanates and flows from the " Kernel of Evil- the Epicentre of the ugly Islamism-the Saudis". For Allah of the Saudis makes submission to Islam obligatory for all humans. Those who refuse their submission to Allah or differ from the Saudi version of Islam are called the Satan's party, and must be eliminated by Saudis or their paid and brainwashed zombies-the Muslims- called the Allah's party. Saudi Arabia is in fact the worst example of Islamic medievalism, and mental, social backwardness. Slavery was legal in Saudi until 1960s when it was officially abolished on the personal request of the non-Muslim US President J F Kennedy! However, it continues in new names: the foreign female domestic servants-the private property of the Islamic Bedouin barbarians. Saudi petrodollars continue to support the extremist and fundamentalist mullahs, and continue to lure the Islamic states into the barbarity of the Islamic medieval Shariah laws, and the Saudis continue to spread Islamic mullah terrorism and Islamic theocratic totalitarianism all over the world."
Iran basically an Islamic spiritual colony, is the godfather of the Shiite Islamic terrorism,( Saudi Sunnis are an Islamic sect like the Christian Catholics while Shiites are like the Protestant Christians). This Allah's government in Iran is the most evil religious state today. Torture, murder and Islamic absolutism- an Islamic version of Hitler's Nazism, Stalin's Communism and Mussolini's Fascism combined. There were 5,195 political and religious executions only in 1983 alone! Few years ago a bill was presented in Iranian Parliament asking that in according with the tradition of Islamic prophet, marriage should be allowed with 9 years old girl child! Human rights are definitely not allowed to exist in the Islamic Iran, where according to the English language Radio Iran, the Holy Spirit of imam Khomeni hovers over Iran all the times. Women have been hanged on suspicion of sexual crimes. Even proved virgins have been sent to gallows, however, they are hanged only after being raped, as Iranian Islam does not allow hanging of virgins. Iran had used its oil money in the interest of Islamic revolutions all over the world, and continues to do so.
Algeria, known for its Islamic civil war continues with its Islamic horrors. Islamic absolutism and totalitarianism is imposed with guns and slaughters in the interest of religion of Islam. Men are usually killed for their religio-political crimes while women are killed just for the crime of being a woman in an Islamic country. Thousands were islamically raped and more than 500 were killed only in 1993. Women have been killed for not wearing hijab (veil) or refusing to do so when imposed, for refusing to engage in Iranian-style temporary marriage, for being married to foreign men, and for working and living alone. The victims have been as young as 9 years and as old as 69 years. Women are often raped and tortured before being slaughtered. Thousands find themselves imprisoned in Islamic camps for no legitimate reasons. It is worth mentioning that women had a respectable status in society before the conquest of Algeria by Islam.
Egyptians, heir to the great Pharonic and Alexandrian civilizations continue to suffer the chronic evil of Islam. Known for the miseries of hijab and female genital mutilation, Egypt is also a centre of child prostitution for the wealthy Saudi Islamic Bedouins. In Egypt, four out of five women are forced to wear some kind of hijab. Female genital mutilation is very common; up to 73% in Cairo and 95% in rural areas. In 1995 a shaikh (religious dignity) of Al-Azhar University Cairo issued a fatwa (the religious decree or bill), which reportedly announced the procedure pf Female Genital Mutilation as "laudable practice that does honour to women"; and stating that it was, a religious duty as important as praying to Allah.
Sudan had a long history of Islamic conquest and repression. Islamic totalitarianism and barbarity continues to this day. Recently, Sudan was brutalized by the Saudi-backed Gen.Numeri's Islamic fascism. In 1992 a religious decree-fatwa-was issued that gave justification to the military onslaught against the non-Muslims. Islamic barbarism and genocide continues in Darfur to this day.
Indonesian Islamic army mass-murdered 200,000 East Timurian non-Muslims before East Timur got its independent. The country is known for its extreme religiosity, corruption, ethno-religious problems and Islamic extremism.
Pakistan, an experimental laboratory of Islam, had turned into a horror. Notwithstanding the hundreds of thousands of rapes, abductions and murders under the watchful eyes of the very Christian administration of the Holy Roman British Empire at the time of religious division of the Indian sub-continent in 1947 by the Christian British Empire, when half a million people were forced to migrate, Pakistan has never made any certain move towards civilization. Pakistan is a centre of Islamic fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism. Pakistan's very Islamic army invaded her province of East Pakistan in 1971, killing hundreds of thousands of Bengali Muslims and non-Muslims and raping half a million women ranging 9-69 years in age, in its attempt to create a half breed Pak-Bengal race which would be loyal to Islam and Pakistan. In 1974 Pakistan army invaded its province of Baluchistan resulting in similar calamities. In 1980 Islamist General Zia ul Haq introduced further islamization under the Saudi pressure for introduction of the medieval and tribal Islamic Shariah.. Along with the compulsory public prayers, there were brutal Islamic laws for the very natural sexual acts and for the presumed blasphemy: the repressive Hudood Ordinance and the infamous Blasphemy laws. Thousands of innocent women continue to suffer under these and other Islamic fascist laws for mere allegations. Raped women had been sent to gallows for the crime of being raped. (Islamic Shariah is the only system of law, which punishes the victims: Fatemollah). Pakistani state has proved to be a willing and sinister instrument of the evil Islamic mullah fascism and terrorism. Pakistan created the hated Afghan Taliban and many other such organizations in Afghanistan. Similar organizations continue to flourish in Pakistan and try to create a totalitarian and fascist Islamic state. Despite all tall claims of fight against Islamic terrorism, the evil continues to flourish. Pakistan is undoubtedly a major source of supply for the Iraqi terrorism. Illicit drug trade continues with the blessings of the Islamic mullahs and the ISI (the Islamic Military Intelligence). There are Islamic prostitution centres in every Islamic city of the Islamic Pakistan where abducted and non-Muslim women are forced to suffer. The secular, liberal and rationalist intellectuals continue to suffer in Pakistan like the victims of the infamous Christian inquisition of medieval Europe. While the Christian churches burnt the heretics, Islamic mullahs get them indicted for Blasphemy.
Eternal vigilance is the price of civilization.

While fundamentalism, superstition, ignorance, lack of human rights, female genital mutilations, forced seclusion of women within their houses and in their hijabs; religious extremism, fundamentalism, suicide-bombing and Islamic terrorism continue to be the hallmarks of the Muslim states and societies under the influence of the Saudi Islamic Spiritual Empire of the petro-dollars or Iranian Shiite area of influence under its Shiite oil-money; it is high time for the civilized world to wake-up from the stupor of multi-culturism and blind tolerance of the organized intolerance; for the disease is spilling herein already. Many of the acts of the Islamic states and societies, organizations and individuals are barbaric and medieval; the beheading of the innocent hostages, death penalties and murders for religious reasons; chopping of hands and feet; stoning to death of women for getting raped or on accusation of natural sexual intercourse; honor-killing on mere suspicion, suicide-bombings and acts of terrorism; these are indicative of a deep-seated disease. Murder on the name of a merciful Allah is mere hypocrisy.
The rise of Saudi-sponsored extremist Islam is a danger to civilization everywhere. All extremist Muslims are potential terrorists and Allah's soldiers. There should be no tolerance for this religiously organized intolerance against liberalism, human rights and women's equal status and other manifestations of our civilization. Muslims in civilized and democratic societies should be required to take the oath of loyalty to the state and democracy. Political right to vote to those whose political loyalties are located in some far off desert is not only harmful but also suicidal for the state as well as for the very ideology and system of democracy. Political right to vote for those who wish to destroy the very system of democracy? Think again, Ladies and gentlemen.
There is no place for optimism for a liberal Islam. Nearly all Islamic states and states have failed to appreciate the basic human rights of their people, their women and their minorities. Saudis and Emirates are the worst offenders; and are the financial godfathers of fundamentalism, extremism and Islamic backwardness everywhere.. Nearly every Islamic country is dangerous not only for itself but for the world as a whole. Pakistan, for example, after supplying Iran and with Korea with nuke-secrets continues to offer the dangerous technology; Vietnam and Brazil are the new customers. The nuke-terrorist Dr. Abdul Qadir Kahn is safe, well protected and facilitated by the State of Pakistan, with full impunity, of course.
You civilized people! Yesterday you refused to acknowledge the dangers inherent in the rise of the Christian Nazi and Communist ideologies. Yesterday you supported Islamic Taliban even when they trampled rights of their women under their feet. Your refusal to confront militant Islam today may cost us more dearly than our individual lives-our cherished achievement -our civilization. Beliefs have consequences-the centrality of Islam to mental, social, intellectual and cultural backwardness; organized offences against women and minorities; fundamentalism, extremism and modern terrorism are impossible to deny. "Religions of peace and tolerance" are mere empty words.

Islam is an organized crime against humanity!

Don't be so hard on the Muslims, particularly the women who fall for this garbage. What is their alternative? Brainwashing occurs in every religion but at least we in the West have the resources to educate ourselves and break free.

If Muslim women think they are happy, then who are we to tell them they're not? I would not personally equate happiness and freedom with wearing voluminous robes in summer, being beaten by my husband or stoned to death, but that's just me.

Muslims all follow the Prophet Muhammad, and seek to emulate his behaviour. All women should therefore be aware of the following:

Sahih Bukhari Volume 3 Book 48, No 826
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half that of a man?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is because of the deficiency of the woman’s mind.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 126:
Narrated Imran: ‘The Prophet said, "I looked at Paradise and saw that the majority of its residents were the poor; and I looked at the Fire (Hell) and saw that the majority of its residents were women."’

Ishaq: 185
In hell I saw women hanging by their breasts. They had fathered bastards.

Malik’s Muwatta Book 55, Number 55.1.2:
The Messenger of Allah said, 'I do not shake hands with women.'

Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 33:
Narrated Usama bin Zaid: ‘The Prophet said, "After me I have not left any affliction more harmful to men than women."’

Abu-Dawud Book 11, Number 2142:
Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: ‘The Prophet said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.’

Qur’an Chapter 4 Verse 34:
Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen (female nakedness) as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. [Teaches Muslim men to beat their wives and deprive them of physical intimacy as punishment]

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 132:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Zam'a: ‘The Prophet said, "None of you should flog his wife as he flogs a slave and then have sexual intercourse with her in the last part of the day."’ [Teaches that it’s OK to flog your wife as long as you don’t flog her as hard as you flog your slaves, and don’t have sex with her later that day]

Ishaq:496
‘Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.’ So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali (Muhammad’s cousin) got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, ‘Tell the Apostle the truth.’

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 30:
Narrated Abdullah bin 'Umar: ‘Allah's Apostle said, "Evil omen is in the women, the house and the horse.'’

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 32:
Narrated Sahl bin Sad: ‘Allah's Apostle said, "If at all there is bad omen, it is in the horse, the woman, and the house."’

Ishaq: 584
Tell the men with you who have wives: never trust a woman.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 29, Number 85:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: ‘The Prophet said, "A woman should not travel except with a Dhu-Mahram (her husband or a man that she cannot marry, such as her brother, father etc.), and no man may visit her except in the presence of a Dhu-Mahram."’

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 250:
Narrated Ibn Abbas: ‘That he heard the Prophet saying, "It is not permissible for a man to be alone with a woman, and no lady should travel except with a Mahram.’

Sahih Muslim Book 007, Number 3110:
Ibn 'Abbas reported: I heard Allah's Messenger delivering a sermon and making this observation:" No person should be alone with a woman except when there is a Mahram with her, and the woman should not undertake journey except with a Mahram."

Sahih Bukhari Volume 7, Book 62, Number 120:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A woman should not fast (optional fasts) except with her husband's permission if he is at home (staying with her)." [Muslim women cannot diet without their husband’s permission]

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 6, Number 301:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: ‘Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o 'Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses (menstruation)?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."’

Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0142:
It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Umar that the Messenger of Allah observed: O womenfolk, you should give charity and ask much forgiveness for I saw you in bulk amongst the dwellers of Hell. A wise lady among them said: Why is it, Messenger of Allah, that our folk is in bulk in Hell? Upon this the Holy Prophet observed: You curse too much and are ungrateful to your spouses. I have seen none lacking in common sense and failing in religion but (at the same time) robbing the wisdom of the wise, besides you. Upon this the woman remarked: What is wrong with our common sense and with religion? He (Muhammad) observed: Your lack of common sense (can be well judged from the fact) that the evidence of two women is equal to one man, that is a proof of the lack of common sense, and you spend some nights (and days) in which you do not offer prayer and in the month of Ramadan (during the days) you do not observe fast, that is a failing in religion. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Tahir with this chain of transmitters.

Abu Dawud Book 11, Number 2045:
Narrated Ma'qil ibn Yasar: ‘A man came to the Prophet and said: “I have found a woman of rank and beauty, but she does not give birth to children. Should I marry her?” He said: “No.”’

Abu Dawud Book 41, Number 5119:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: ‘A woman was my wife and I loved her, but Umar hated her. He said to me: “Divorce her”, but I refused. Umar then went to the Prophet and mentioned that to him. The Prophet said: “Divorce her.”’ [Muhammad ordered a man to leave his wife, simply because one of his men hated the woman]

If you are a Muslim women reading this then please start asking yourself why you need to live your life according to the teachings of a cult leader who looked down on women and taught that they were inferior. Many Muslim women are completely deluded, pretending to themselves that Muhammad respected women. Truth is about evidence, and the evidence presented above speaks very loudly for itself. Muhammad's behaviour towards women has caused women to be abused and mistreated across the world.

Concept of Peace in Islam

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace" (The Quran 8:61)
The Word "Islam"

The "root" of the word "Islam" in Arabic is SALAMA which is the origin of the words Peace & / or Submission, a submission to God and peace to all humanity. It is, thus, no wonder why the salutation in Islam is: "Al-Salamu Alaikum or Peace on You."

In this regard, prophet Mohammad ordered his fellow Muslims to salute others Muslims or non-Muslims with peace when he said: "Peace Before Speech"

It is a Rule in Islam that during war time, an enemy warrior who pronounces the word peace is totally immune.
No Coercion In Islam

Unlike many other religions where people were offered either conversion and peace or death, Islam came with the just word of our creator. In Quran 2:256; God said "Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error..." There are many other verses in the Quran that deals with the nature of spreading God's message. One of my favorites which I keep quoting is Verse 10:99 "If it had been thy Lord's Will, they would all have believed, all who are on earth! Wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe!" These verses and many others show how much emphasis Islam places on the mind of people, Muslims or non-Muslims.
Justice & Fairness to Non-Muslims

In This regard, Muslims are governed by the rules that the relationship with non-Muslims should be based on justice, mutual respect, cooperation, and communication. The Quran is very explicit about the justice part of the relationship when God stated in Verse 60:08 "Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just."
The Ultimate Justice

Another prominent example that I keep referring to concerning the just treatment of Islam to non-Muslims; is the fact that while a husband is allowed to ask his Muslim wife not to go to the Mosque; he has no right to ask his wife to go to Church or Synagogue if it happens that the wife is a Christian or a Jew.
Peace and Jihad

The root of the word Jihad is Jahada which means "spent the energy". The following need some clarification concerning the concept of Jihad in Islam:

* The acts of Jihad are limitless in Islam. Work, going to school, even having sex with your spouse is classified as an act of Jihad in Islam that one will be rewarded for doing them.
* The highest stage of Jihad is fighting the enemy of Muslims and Islam.
* Defending your family, money, land, country...etc. by all means including the armed means are also considered Jihad

Misrepresentation of Anti-Islam

Anti-Muslims resort to a deceitful misrepresentation when they misquote the Quranic verses of the second chapter. They claim that Quran promoted killing the infidels wherever you find them. Indeed, this is true but only if the infidels attack Muslims. Here are the verses complete:

Quran 2:190-193.

* Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors.
* And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.
* But if they cease, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
* And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression.

Contemporary Counterpart of Jihad

The United Nation's Charter does explicitly discuss the right of the occupied people to resist their occupiers. The legitimacy of fighting aggression by means of Jihad or armed struggle is extended not only from the Islamic teachings but also from the international law and UN Charter.
Morality & Ethics of Jihad

The legitimacy of annihilating the oppressive forces and military occupation is not limited to Islam or international law and UN Charter. In fact, it is very much morally and ethically unacceptable to people with minimum level of dignity and self respect to accept the life of slaves under the military machine rule of alien invaders. Who amongst the reader is willing to live in political and ideological slavery? Who is willing to give up his home for a Russian, an African, an American, or a Chinese? Who is willing to accept what courses are enforced on you in your school? And finally; who is willing to live under the Civil Detention Law; that Hitler used to massacre Jews; and, ironically, Jews are using the same law to massacre, deport, jail, and displace more than 5 million Palestinians? If you are willing; I, and many others are not. And this is just a tiny part of the ethics behind being enslaved to aliens.

Houzan Mahmoud, Representative of the Organisation of Women's Freedom in Iraq has been threatened by Islamic Fundamentalists.

On February 26, 2007, Houzan received an e-mail signed by Ansar al-Islam, the notoriously brutal jihadist group based in Kurdistan/Iraq.

The death threat, delivered via e-mail, read:

"With the permission of Great God, we will kill you either in Iraq or in London by the middle of March, because you are campaigning against Islam. You should be sent to God for punishment."

Houzan Mahmoud, who is currently based in London, is originally from Iraqi Kurdistan, where she recently led a campaign against the imposition of Islamic Sharia law in the proposed constitution.
