About HealthCentral/On Faith

HealthCentral, the leading collection of online condition-specific consumer health and wellness experiences, and On Faith, The Washington Post's special online feature on religion, are collaborating on a new daily feature exploring the relationship between faith and healing.

HealthCentral/On Faith gives HealthCentral's users the ability to pose their questions on faith to an On Faith panel of religion experts, who will give their unique perspectives on real issues regarding spirituality and health. Each week, HealthCentral will provide On Faith with questions from its popular Q&A feature, drawing user questions on faith from a relevant, specific condition category, beginning in December with depression and holiday blues.

"On Faith is dedicated to offering varied perspectives on how religion impacts our lives, and life-changing health conditions are very much a part of that, " said Sally Quinn, co-moderator of On Faith . "We're excited to work with HealthCentral to answer user questions on faith related to health. "

"Our users often discuss the role faith has played in their specific condition, and how it has shaped their experiences with diagnosis and treatment," said Christopher M. Schroeder, CEO of HealthCentral. "This collaboration provides a unique opportunity for people affected by life-changing conditions to learn from a variety of religion experts and discuss the role faith has played in their lives."
