Thank you Jonathan for your forthright response to Dr. Wright's talks. I have had the privilege of studying the black church as part of my historical studies in graduate school. Thirteen years later I enjoy meeting in multi-racial, multi-class community at Beyond Welfare for dinner each week. We still struggle to help our town -- Ames Iowa -- understand what it means for us to get along with our neighbors.

Over 90% of blacks vote for Obama. Before there was Obama the Clintons counted on the black vote. Bill did not invent the race card but he perfected its use. Hillary not only counted on the black vote to get the nomination but to be elected President.

Year after year, blacks, no matter if the candidate is white or black, vote 90% for the democrat candidate and they absolutely loved the Clintons. Bill even suggested that he was the first black president. Is the any surprise that Bill Clinton got angry in S.C. He was angry becasuse the black vote always belong to a Clinton until there was a black candidate. Now not even the Clintons can get a black person to vote for them. Why? Because the blacks are raciest by birthright too. Obama says he is a uniter but in the end he will expose our divisions and he will be a divider. Not because of white race attitudes but because of black race voting patterns.

Now the black vote belongs to this black man Obama no matter what he does or who he associates with or what are his policies. They don't care. I garantee you they could care less if he lies, cheats or is anti-American. The raciest blacks will no longer vote for a Clinton because there is a guy running who is the same color as they are. That is all that matters to them.

Another apologist for the Reverend Wright and his "prophetic roots". If Blacks think the injustice done to them is something that I will ever personally accept guilt for, they are as delusional as Dick Cheney and George Bush.

All this over dramatic hype, hand wringing, shouting and parading around draped in the excuse of the "historic Black church" does nothing more than alienate whites and make them wonder what, if any, agenda blacks have if and when Brother Obama becomes their president.

I'm starting to get the same feeling about Obama that I had with Romney - that his aliegance would not be to all Americans but to his bigoted elders in Salt Lake City or that Huckabee would be a pawn of the religious right neochristians.

Pose, praise and bad mouth whitey or whatever is your imagined enemies and scapegoats with your own on Sunday. It's still your right in America but keep your narrow minded religion and racism out of government and politics. You are destroying Obama's opportunity to end the Rovaian nightmare we are now in because other religious zealots chose to make it Cheney's Jesuslandia.
