I agree with your comments regarding WaPo's anti Catholic bias. It is subtle but there.

More importantly and as you state, this article needs more prominence to dispel the historical inaccuracies regarding Pius XII's activities during the 1930/40's. Many Jews were saved from the Nazi's because of Pius' activities.
