As today we seek to move beyond the plagues of climate crisis, to bring a new birth of freedom to our wounded earth, we can act in many spheres against the pharaohs that enslave us.

There is one place in the Passover Haggadah which was really meaningful to us this year, especially over these past 7 years of this administration.
Each drop of wine we pour is hope and prayer that people will cas out the plagues that threaten everyone everywhere they are found, beginning in our own hearts;
The making of war;
the teaching of hate and violence;
despoliation of the earth;
perversion of justice and of government;
fomenting of vice and crime;
neglect of human needs;
oppression of nations and people;
corruption of culture;
subjugation of science, learning, and human discourse;
the erosion of freedom.

Mr. A. Waskow,
many thoughtful americans believe that human population growth ( now at 77 million a year) is the most important enviromental issue facing our planet.To save the earth we must greatly reduce human population growth, this is the "green way".
Experience shows then when people are given access to family planning services, the average family size drop.

My thanks to the moderator for cleaning up this blog. Nothing ruins the conversation quite like JJ's meaningless stuff.

I think its worth mention that two years ago this week, the madam Pelosi pledged the left would bring down gas prices through a series of Pelosinomic measures meant to reign in the economic terror that the unholy alliance of big oil and the vicious right had brought to America.
It is worth noting gas has gone up 1.18 a gallon since the left took over.
Well, I am glad that, unlike the lying, deceiving right, the leftists keep their pledges.

Yesterday, on Earth Day, some folks came by distributing new telephone books. I told them I really didn't need a new one and asked if they could just pass me by. They seemed hurt by the request, like Moms does when I decline a second helping of stuffed cabbage. I explained that I didn't mean to offend them, but that I just wanted to save some trees. It was at that point that looked at me like I was crazy, insisted they couldn't take it back and told me to just throw it away if I didn't want it.

One thing's for sure, the religious types out there haven't slackened at all in their thirst for expansion of political influence...I'm a heathen 'cause I think that organized religion is, well, dishonest, to put it politely. Energy? Sunshine's still free, gotta learn how to use it more gooder though.

Mr. A. Waskow,
you are a dreamer: big oil and coal are only a small part of the problem. Belore oil and coal we were burning wood, there would be no tree by now.
The big problem is the axiom that there is strenght in number: " I want my clan to be stronger that yours" and this has lead to the socalled spiritual leaders to ban artificial birth control and encourage medium or even large size families.

WHY are these posts of drooling madness allowed, when many totally benign posts are blocked? What is wrong with WaPo?
