What Are the Origins of The Term "Just War"?

The theory of the "Just War" is often attributed to the Christian philosopher Augustine, who wrote in his book, City of God, that the wise man "will wage just wars," and that "The injustice of the opposing side is what imposes the duty of waging wars."
