My Pilgrimage to Milwaukee

Recently I went on a pilgrimage. No, I am not talking about my trip to Israel in May. I didn't explore the origins of my people or visit the great sites in our history. I went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the location of my birth and the first thirteen years of my life.

I Think, Therefore I Am... Confused

I wanted to help, to feel like I sacrificed something, but I didn't at all. I got so much more from the Russian people than I could ever hope to give back, continuously reminding me of that similar conundrum integral to the Christian religion.
