Speaking of Patriotism

I was just informed that Trader Joe's sells Kosher Steaks.

This is an amazing country.

Perhaps you are familiar with the phenomenon that is Trader Joe's. To be honest, I actually don't understand it. None of that matters right now. Liz's post put me an a patriotic mood I perhaps cannot explain.

There's something special going on in the course of history when the dietary restrictions followed by far less than half of a group that makes up less than one fiftieth of all Americans are proudly followed by a very popular store. I can't really articulate the wonderment that hit me with this discovery. Maybe someone can explain it better in comments.
