Divine Impulses: Anita Renfroe

Anita Renfroe wasn't supposed to be funny.

In fact, Renfroe says that her Baptist religious tradition "didn't really celebrate laughter."

But the comedian slowly discovered that just as she wanted her children to be happy, "the God of the Universe" must want the same for her.

Renfroe shared her talent for humor with the world in a YouTube video called "Momsense" which has received 2.2 million views.

»Watch Anita Renfroe talk about the "party inside her head" and how faith is central to humor in an interview with On Faith's Sally Quinn.
