Beware of False Prophets

In terms of occupancy, hell is much bigger than heaven coz many will go to that place of torment compared to those who will make it to heaven. One major factor why it is so is because of false religions or false prophets who propagate it.

In Matthew 7:13-15 Jesus said "...wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction (Hell), and many there be which go in thereat; ... strait (or limited in space) is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life (Heaven), and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing...".

The fact that God had said that many will go to hell and few to heaven just shows that these false prophets are much more effective in teaching their false doctrines than those who preach the true word of God. As a result, they have a much larger following.

It is very disappointing that many religions today use the name of Jesus Christ and that its priests or preachers act like they are His servants but in truth are really servants of the devil. It is equally disappointing that many members of these churches are easily duped into believing what they falsely teach.

Since the year 2001, four so called "Christian" nations have already legalized gay marriage. It's quite amazing that four nations (The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Canada) legalized it in just a span of 4 years. Next year, there could be another two or more and before we know it, other "Christian" nations would be following their lead just like popcorn. The only thing to blame in here is their practiced religion.

It should be noted that both Belgium and Spain are Catholic countries. Canada is 43% Catholic and 29% Protestant and most of its Protestant churches have linkups with the Catholic Church and other false religions thru its Ecumenical Movement. Their biggest protestant group, The United Church of Canada (UCC), previously stated that their church welcome "sexually active single adults, lesbian, gay and bisexual people into all aspects of the life and ministry of the Church". It means that they see nothing wrong with people engaged in fornication, adultery and same sex unions. If we read the Bible, these are the same people God will burn in Hell. Clearly, there are two conflicting messages here -- one from God and the other from the devil. Since their church unashamedly teach the devil's doctrine, it's more fitting that they should call their church as the United Devil's Church of Canada. That way, it would clear up things and there will be no mixups. The Netherlands, on the other hand, has become a secular state which means most of its populace has no religious affiliation. In Massachusetts, which currently is the only state in the U.S that have legalized gay marriage, 54% of its populace is Catholic and still rising..

This is just the cross-section of the kind of religions those people who supported gay marriage have. Most of them were Catholics, liberal Protestants that have linkups with other false religions and Secularists who are either aetheists or skeptics. All these religions or beliefs have one thing in common. They worship the same "God" but not the God in the Bible for in Romans 1:32 it states, "Who, knowing the judgment of God, that they who commit such things are worthy of death...".

When God speaks of death, He means everlasting hellfire. The people who approved of it never knew that they have stretched even wider what is already a very broad pathway to Hell. Most probably, they too are breezing thru that road themselves and on their way to destruction. No more stoplights for the lights or religions they attend to like the UCC have been signalling them to push on and run on full speed.

False religions are not that really hard to detect. Jesus said that "ye will know them by their fruits". So the next time another country, state or city legalizes gay marriage, examine what kind of religion those people who approved of it profess. And as sure as the sun rises from the east, those people would be either Catholic, liberal Protestants or Secularists.

When God says beware, one should not take it lightly. In Luke 12:5 Jesus said, "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear Him."

But what makes it more fearsome is the fact that it cannot be appealed like what other false religions want to suggest by teaching reincarnation or purgatory. The judgment of God is final and wherever He puts us in, Heaven or Hell, that would be permanent. The same is the fire and the worms crawling in one's body. They too would be permanent. The worms won't die and the fire won't quench either. It really is a place of torment and it's really very sad if some foolish religion would send somebody there.

"Beware of false prophets", said the Lord. I hope everybody would really ponder on this one.

I have the feeling that you are Gaddy. Playing the "holy person" but a lying wolf in reality.

Atheists are tired of "religious" idiocy and hypocricy. Not only they, me also.

I want a discussion that shoots down the idea and not the person. If they shoot me, I respond with equal vigor.

You'd do better if you keep your "christianity" to yourself coz I believe you shame Christ by using His name.

as a Christian, parent, democrat, voter and rational thinker, I am concerned with the turn to religious pandering now required of and practiced by candidates for all sorts of elective offices.
I truly believe in God's law and try - and mostly fail - to live it daily.
I am also happy to live under American law, for which I have great respect. American government has always been the last great hope for humanity being able to rule themselves under the secular analogue to God's law (that is, with real justice). I consider this noble and worthy, if vain and eventually useless. But unlike many who profess Christ as master, I do not seek to hasten the end of the human experiment and the onset of God's rule over mankind. It will happen in its time, and repeatedly God says that no man can tell when or influence its coming. Trying to "bring it on" is a pastime of people confused by the different purposes of the US Constitution and the Bible.
The Constitution guarantees rights of all citizens to "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and I fail to see how measures singling out those of "alternative lifestyle" for discriminatory laws furthers this purpose.
I believe attempts to somehow incorporate Biblical standards into the Constitution are wrong on at least two levels. First, much of the US law is based on "judeo-christian ethics" already and attempts to inject their Bible further into the Constitution are merely secular power grabs under the cloak of religiosity. Second, God also talks about those who prop themselves up as being authorities on God's Word yet use secular means to help themselves. They do not see that their spiritual lives are jeoparized by their affiliation with earthly corruption - i.e., using secular systems to implement their own intepretation of God's law. Somehow the two don't mix but so far have done a good job of coexisting - as long as we "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's."
As long as the USA stands, I will oppose attempts to disenfranchise, alienate and ostracize any segment of American society by the imposition of bigoted or self-righteous statutes, such as proposed by Huckabee, Hagee, Dobson and the like. I am a Christian and they do not represent me.
On another note, Spiderman2 clearly has something on his or her mind, an affliction that requires they lecture, belittle and dismiss people (God's children) who don't understand or don't agree with him or her. THAT is a pity and a shame, as the rant itself denigrates any useful message that might be hidden in the rant. It is funny how often our best intentions are foiled by our limitations.
Peace out
Porzitsku

NB,

I've read many of the so called "logical fallacies". All I can say is that all who made those observations are idiots themselves or blind. They are like grade 1 pupils trying to figure out differential equations. The equations are so hard to solve that they would end up cursing the equations or throw them in the garbage bin or simplify the equation to their liking just as what these "logical fallacy" idiots do to the Bible. If you believe these people, you'd become an idiot yourself.

I hope you're serious in looking for a Bible. I've know a married couple in which the wife gave her husband a Bible on the thought that he would not play around with other women. The husband read it and got interested. Finally he quit his Catholic religion and prod his family to try another religion which is founded on the word of God. The whole family is now very faithful in the church and the guy even teaches Sunday School.

Are you like computer programs which are just a series of zeroes and ones or a series of AC and GT nucleotides? The Theory of Evolution

"He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing." (Job 26:7)

This Old Testament Bible verse was written by a servant of God named Job in about 1520 BC. During that time when most people think that the earth is flat, it is remarkable that someone will categorically say that the earth is not supported by anything. If there were scientists in his time, it would not be unusual if they call him crazy or stupid. Even today, if we have no concrete photos or pictures of the earth floating in space, chances are we won't believe that it really "hangs upon nothing".

The Bible was written thousands of years ago but yet it's never obsolete and is still full of facts that are reserved for future generations to witness or if they are wise, unravel. Despite its accuracy in both scientific and historical matters there are many-a-number of people who dismiss it as fictional.

Today, the Theory of Evolution or the study that man "evolved" from monkeys and that all living things started from inanimate or non-living things are already widely accepted in much of Europe and by many scientists around the world. These people are not holding any proofs to support their claims and yet despite their being "scientists" and "developed nations" status of Europe, they are quick in embracing a very hazy doctrine and just as quick in denouncing the biblical story of creation and even the whole Bible itself.

It's very ironic that among these learned bunch of people, you'll find the dumbest set of people on earth.

Instead of putting their energies on finding the "missing link" between monkey and man, why shouldn't they first find the link between the sweet taste of an apple fruit to that of the human tongue? How did that apple tree created a product for its "customer"? Was it a first hit or did it make many experiments to come up with a sweet product? Was there any communication link between the two that they perfectly matched although both exist independent from each other? It is only common sense that your tailor measures you first before he makes you a suit.

If they don't want to work around apples, they could ask themselves what is the link between the color and form of a rose flower to that of the human eye. Did it have just one petal at first and then thought by itself thru its "invisible mirror" that it doesn't look good so it made itself with more petals and its color impeccable red, yellow or pink? Are they making themselves beautiful for themselves only or is it exclusive for their "only customer", the human eye? Again, was there any communication link between the two? It would be very crazy to say that they just happened "randomly". If you can solve that thru reason, then how? If I ask you to patch a hole, can you cover that hole without measuring the said hole? For two things to match perfectly, there should always be an interaction between the two. That piece of fact is nowhere to be found in evolution coz no two objects can match perfectly without inteacting with each other. And we're not jast talking about one or two interactions but millions of them.

There are thousands of very difficult questions that will arise if we are to believe these evolutionists that it would be much easier to just affirm that they truly are dumb than to just leave those thousands of hard questions unresolved. In fact, putting them in the stupid or dumb category erases all the confusions that they made in the first place.

They may think that the concept of God as creator is fictional, but they never foresaw that without the concept of God, it would generate thousands or even millions of unresolvable questions as opposed to one crazy "answer" if they believe in evolution. Is it difficult to believe that the whole universe existed just by the word of God when in fact, Jesus Christ, who was a real historical figure (not fiction), had showed its possibility by multiplying the fish and the bread into thousands more thru his spoken words only? Would they call it a fiction when He did it not only in front of his disciples but in front of thousands of people, believers and unbelievers alike? Would they call it fiction when historians could not disprove His existence and deeds?

Maybe these scientists are not crazy at all. Come to think of it, the more questions that arise, the more funding they get from clueless moneyed institutions. In fact there was much talk about the possibility of finding the "origin of life" on earth if they can land a spacecraft in one of Saturn's moon called Titan. Surely that kind of "noble" search would keep the money flowing.

They may land on all the planets and moons in this whole universe but one thing is sure, they won't find the "origin of life" and neither is the "missing link" between monkey and man. Empty pursuits gets empty results.

In Genesis 25:23, God said, "... two nations are in thy womb..." refering to the twins (Jacob and Isau) inside Rebekah's womb. Rebekah happened to be the wife of Isaac, and Isaac, the son of Abraham. The 12 tribes of Israel started from the 12 sons of Jacob. In 1948, Israel was declared a nation and today we are seeing the making of another nation, the State of Palestine, its twin brother.

Like the earth hanging on nothing and the birth of these two nations, the Bible for centuries have been accurate. On the other hand, evolution has been feeding us with trash ever since its conception and it's quite a surprise that many are believing it.

God has still many prophecies written in His book. It speaks about the safety of the believers of God and destruction of unbelievers. And just like in the time of Noah (the flood) and Lot (Sodom and Gomorrah), these unbelievers wouldn't know what will hit them.

Ironically, that would be the time they will find the "source of life" coz they would finally meet the Creator whom they continuously deny.

B-man,

Have you heard of the phrase "old science". Maybe you're too old already and therefore your science is old. Here's new science for you.

Thermodynamics is a theory of macroscopic systems at equilibrium and therefore the second law applies only to macroscopic systems with well-defined temperatures. No violation of the second law of thermodynamics has ever been observed in a macroscopic system. But on scales of a few atoms, the second law does not apply; for example, in a system of two molecules, it is possible for the slower-moving ("cold") molecule to transfer energy to the faster-moving ("hot") molecule. Such tiny systems are outside the domain of thermodynamics, but they can be investigated using statistical mechanics. For any isolated system with a mass of more than a few picograms, the second law is true to within a few parts in a million.

The Bible may be old but it cannot be obsolete. It's the readers who have obsolete minds and yours is one of them.

spiderman2:

One Last Chance

When Albert Einstein first introduced his Theory of Special Relativity with it's equation E=mc^2, it shook the science world with great intensity. It kindled many a brilliant minds to test the equation which eventually lead to the making of the most powerful and destructive device man has ever made, the Atomic Bomb.

Although this theory was first introduced a hundred years ago in 1905, many of this world's population still have no idea what that equation really means. To describe it simply, E in the equation means energy, m is for mass or matter and c signifies the word constant which in this particular equation has a value equal to the speed of light which is 300,000,000 m/sec.

This equation interest many scientists because it says that mass or matter can be turned into energy. Since man has been doing this kind of stuff turning matter (firewood) into energy (flame), one could not help but ask, what's amazing about that?

What makes that formula amazing is that it also means that the process is reversible and therefore, instead of the usual matter to energy conversion, it's the other way around -- energy can become matter. For the sake of illustration, it's like turning fire into firewood. Energy which is invisible can become visible by transforming itself into matter. Now, isn't that really amazing ?

That's exactly how those scientists received the formula or equation when they first saw it. It's like seeing magic without the inherent trick -- unreal but real. Before that formula was introduced, nobody had thought that something can be created "from nothing". With recent experiments using particle accelerators, it's been confirmed that energy can become matter.

Another amazing thing about this formula is that the constant is so big. Three hundred million multiplied to itself means 9 is followed by 18 zeros or 9 quintillion. If we don't know what that means, it simply says that every speck of matter even how light it is, packs or contains a very large amount of energy.

If a petal of a rose flower weighs 1 gram, it simply means that that petal contains energy equal to 90 trillion joules or equivalent to an explosive force of 21.5 kilotons of TNT. To give us a glimpse of how powerful that is, the atomic bomb which was dropped in Hiroshima, Japan has an equivalent explosive power of only 12.5 kilotons of TNT. It means that just a little over than half a gram of matter was really expended in that explosion. Yes, just over half of a gram of matter, converted into pure energy, had caused that city to be flattened. A single rose petal, if converted into pure energy, can destroy a big city. Can we imagine that? It seems unrealistic, but it's true.

At first glance, everything that has been said seems very impossible and that is why until today some "scientists" are still doubtful about this formula although based on many experiments, this equation never floundered but instead constantly agrees with all experimental results that has been done for the past 100 years.

The facts presented, although proven correct, seem to be unbelievable because our senses and frame of mind just can't fathom the idea that such a delicate and lovely petal or any object as light as that can contain such a gargantuan force.

If a mere gram of petal or matter contains such a huge amount of energy, how much more the whole universe? The amount of energy needed to form this universe is simply unimaginable and mindboggling. The real question is where did that infinitesimal amount of energy came from and what or who contained it before it took shape into a visible form which we now call universe?

In a more distant future, that question will be answered when in time, its Maker will take it back again. Everyone will know Him coz when He comes back to reclaim it, it would take the same amount of energy to take back what it took to form it.

The energy involved would simply be Immeasurable and Awesome !

So awesome that no mass or matter would be able to withstand it. They would simply explode all at the same time into nothingness and it's not going to be quiet coz they will create the loudest noise or the Biggest Bang! this whole universe can blurt out. It would be somewhat like a "universal" praise, by which all matter or elements seem to shout in unison, and exclaim, "HAIL TO THE KING !!" and at the same time a call to all the people of all generations of the earth, dead or living, saying "AWAKE !!! , FOR THE BRIDEGROOM IS COMING !!!".

It will be a time when all the people born in this world would realize the true meaning of the word, ALMIGHTY !!!.

I feel sorry for those who believe that man is a "developed" monkey which simply implies that man has no soul and therefore is not answerable to any spiritual God. I feel sorry for atheists who can't see God in little creations like that of a lovely rose petal and clueless of the fact how it could transform into a terrible wrath capable of crushing a big city. They never know that the God of Love can become a God of Wrath and that hell could be a place 9 quintillion times hotter than what one can bear.

I also feel sorry for people (owners, models and production staff) who uses sensual ads or gimmicks just to sell their wares not knowing that the money they gain is so cheap in exchange for their souls to be burned forever.

If we think that God is not capable of burning souls forever, He gave us that illustration of the rose petal that we might think of His words not only once or twice but more than 9 quintillion times.

Albert Einstein once said that, "God does not play dice". That statement is true as shown in his brilliant equation E=mc^2 But many people missed the real point and that is "God is not kidding".

"Alas, alas, that great city, ... for in one hour is she made desolate". Revelation 18:19

How can a big city be destroyed and made lifeless in one hour? The answer is in Einstein's equation but the Bible stated its forthcoming use two thousand years earlier.

"...Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tonque shall consume away in their mouth". Zechariah 14:12

God did not lack in warning the world. His warnings were written thousands of years beforehand. He's not requiring us to climb the highest mountain or swim the deepest sea to be saved. He just wants us to listen.

But not to false religions in which some of them tell their flock to eat "holy" biscuits to take away their sins; or kill "infidels" to be rewarded with 72 virgins in heaven; or teach that cows are sacred but consider other people as outcasts or "untouchables"; or teaching evolution that man came from monkeys or is it the other way around?; or teach that there is no God or Maker and that their eyes or brains just pop up in there just because there's a hole or cavity in their head.

So foolish and yet billions of people believe in them. I just can't help but recall Jose Rizal's words when, in frustration, he said "Oh, what blindness, what lack of understanding !" and the words of God when He said "...thou hast tried (or tested) them who say they are apostles, but are not, and hast found them liars. " (Revelation 2:2). (Both statements refer to Catholicism but they could also be applied to all false religions and beliefs coz they are all blind and liars.)

Einstein's equation when used as a weapon may be so terrifying because of its destructiveness but it's just a foretaste of what God is really capable of coz once His final Judgment to unbelievers is rendered, there will be no words to describe it but the word, unbearable.

What's frightening about a swift destruction is that God is denying all these people a chance to say the simple words, "I'm sorry" before they die. It means that the Lord has given up on them and deny them that one last chance for salvation. Bang! and it's all over.

But God is really not that unmerciful. This gospel would be preached around the world one last time and much louder before that appointed hour of desolation will come.

Let us not wait for that last minute and deny all those people the chance to say those simple words. Help ring aloud the warning bells before its too late.

This may be their one last chance. Pass it on.

There's no reason these politicians should refrain from this religious pandering. They can attract the attention of those like the first poster here, who can't think for themselves. The rest of us have to put up with it, because we don't have any other choice.

We know spiderman2 for the kind of person he is, so do these politicians.

Remember, "politician" means "lying SOB" in English.

I find it depressing that no candidates will stand up to religious voters. Good policy MUST be secular; if we commit to endorsing non-secular policies, we will induce a downward spiral towards a medieval, sharia-like theological police state. As a gay man, it is especially distressing to me, because so many of my only recently-ensured rights are constantly under assault by misguided religious proponents. Don't get me wrong, religion is an important aspect of our society, and is largely beneficial and enriching to Americans. But much of the worst bigotry, indemnity, and atrocity in the world today comes from excessive mingling of church and state.

A quote from Martin Luther:

"By God's grace, I know Satan very well. If Satan can turn God's Word upside down and pervert the Scriptures, what will he do with my words -- or the words of others? "

By Martin Luther's definition, Satan is a bible teacher too. Actually, Satan still exist today but he seems to be invisible coz they use "very respectable titles" like this one -- Welton Gaddy, "Leader of the Interfaith Alliance".

Unless you have a spirit of discernment, you wouldn't know. It's an alliance so it means they are many. Yes, very many. And you can only catch them by their mouth as they speak. Pretty stealthty.

spiderman2:

The time for a new world is coming -- a world which will be ruled by the values taught by Christ. Some people may have to slowly pack their bags and leave this planet earth. God's wrath is at it's boiling point and that means they have to move out whether they like it or not. Interfaith what? I thought devils has only alliances but no faith. These people has to go as well.

Interfaith Alliance of the Devil. That sounds better coz if they are true followers of Christ, they should be rejoicing to see a president who's at home to the values preached by Jesus Christ.

Welton Gaddy is more dangerous than Mr.Chopra. At least we know that Mr. Chopra is not a Christian. This man claims to be a Christian and that is where the danger lies. We have a wolf in sheep's clothing. And smiling too.
