I am thankful for real friends and here is why, "When you are ready or not ready, to enter the divorce process, you probably will have to pay your attorney, a retainer. We can be thankful that we still have an opportunity to get it right. To simply look at the state of affairs in the world can cause just about anyone to question faith, reason, humanity, or any of a number of issues that we rely on for answers and stability. I fully understand that there are diffrent belief systems existing, but the majority of them have a sense of compassion and care for others and a sense of doing what most consider "the right thing". Unfortunately, we live in a society that is plagued by selfish desire, capitalistic motivation, and self serving initiatives. This is very plainly stated in the Scriptures when called, "the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life". There is enough food to feed the world's population, there is no need in this time for people to go without decent shelter or health care. Our societies and cultures are rife eith political agenda and survivalist motivation. I gather that by “the brain being re-engaged” you mean that we use reason. I certainly agree that we do need reason but the answer has to include the heart. We need to try to resolve problems by finding understanding of the other. As far as the conflicts, I believe that we are seeing people who are two faced, with a hidden agendas, who find their way into the various religions in the world and reek havoc and then everyone blames the religion. I am truly blessed because last night I had toast made from whole wheat bread toasted by an electric toaster. Deriving my circumstance, my electricity is still turned on this week.

My toast was topped by butter and elderberry jelly from the store. And that is a blessing because I did not have to milk a cow and churn butter while picking elderberries for perservation.

Yes, thanks to all those people who harvest coal, transport this fossil fuel to the powerplant to make electricity.
