Do you believe in life after death? Have you ever been visited by the spirit of a dead relative or friend? Do such visions or visitations have any theological meaning?

This trip with the Spirit of Christ has been too eventful, surprising and beyond my imagining to wrap in a statement of beliefs. That is not the way love works.

We Christians don’t believe in life after death. We have full belief in Jesus, and afterlife with him is implicit in our experience of him as alive in our here-and-now.

Aside from the obvious influence of dreams and memories – which are very much part of this world – pure souls have a primarily unconscious relationship with us.

I've never had any visions from dead people of any kind, and would be terrified if I did. Consulting mediums or spiritists is clearly condemned in Scripture.

Yes, I believe in life after death because Jesus taught about it came to assure we could live it with Him; and and Paul also testifies to it. No, I have never been visited by a dead relative or friend....
