Does discrimination against Catholics still exist in this country today? If so, why? How have you experienced discrimination because of your religious beliefs or lack of religious beliefs?

Discrimination Against Pagans

While I can’t speak to the issue of discrimination against Catholics, I can say that religious discrimination against Pagans and Wiccans and indigenous religions is omnipresent in the U.S.

More Prejudice from the Elite Than From the Street

In my experience, prejudice against Catholics is more noticeable among the well-educated than it is among people of more modest academic credentials.

Dissent is Not Discrimination

Roman Catholics have the right to define their faith and practice for Roman Catholics. They do not have the right to define the faith and practice of the non-Roman Catholic population.

Discrimination Built Into UK System

The UK has a law prohibiting the sovereign from becoming, or marrying, a Roman Catholic. This is regarded by many as discriminatory.
